Went to Small Soul's and passed by Char's Garden Cafe. Very affordable. We purchased Tapsilog, Omelette, Sisiglog and Tokwa't Baboy. In addition to the free brewed espresso for each breakfast meal. The meals is delicious. Will certainly be back.

This was previously just how tourist dine at Tagaytay before it had been commercialized. Simple, peaceful and very relaxing. This is exactly what this backyard cafe cut back, simple good meals and reasonable priced. Ideally they will preserve this sort of dining experience.

Been here multiple periods and we would like to talk about our experience with this wonderful place. 1. FOOD: The meals really tastes excellent, real affordability....like the pritong tawilis and sinigang. 2. STAFF: The staff are friendly and accomodating, fast service. 3. PLACE:The ambiance is quite soothing... appreciate the windy oxygen and a lot of flowers and trees. HOME ABROAD feeling, very relaxing. TIP: 1. This location is IG worthy 2. Best time will be 12nn to 3pm.... lunch time to late lunch... in order to avoid mosquitos through the late hours

So, it had been 3 days stay static in Tagaytay with fambam (9 folks). Luckily, my pal recommended it if you ask me, sabi nia "inexpensive at sulit, attempt mo" ok, so me therefore curious, I googled and very last thing I recall - was in the hut na,getting lunch with my children , spent money, now I'll definitely recommend it as well! Masarap and rest lang ung ambience ng location, mej maliit ung location and very casual. Usually do not expect a 5 star services ung sobra sobra sa regular kasi iba dito. Ate woman was extremely polite and laging verify nia ung desk namin, mabait siya, sila. If we dine in dining places lagi kami might take away pero within Char's wala. Incredible heheh or baka gutom lang kami. Therefore, till next vacation - BTW, Personally i think like want mo ng sasakyan heading here particularly if 1st period mo. Balik kami and today, I'm recommending Char's Backyard cafe sa mga close friends kong visiting Tagaytay.

My kids and We planned for a bisita Iglesia last week and I needed to be sure that they experience eating at Char’s Backyard Cafe as when my friends took me there couple of weeks back I simply love the meals and the ambience. It’svery simple yet service is great and food high quality is good too! We ordered garlic shrimp, inihaw na liempo, sizzling bangus and pancit canton. 👍👍👍 3 thumbs up for you personally guys! My kids think it’s great too ❤️ We will dine once again on our next stop by at Tagaytay

Super sarap ng food and ang bait ng staffs! Nakita lang din namen sya sa internet and informed my partner you will want to try out, tsaka inviting yng reality na garden sya. Therefore ang chill lang kumaen and mabilis din yng pag work. Must try!!! ❤️

Have observed Chars' humble beginnings back 2013 when it had been still in its authentic location across the main highway across 7-11 and LZM. Pros: 1) Larger and better. Atmosphere is nice with plenty of greenery and ample car parking space. 2) Affordable. Undeniablyone of the greatest Filipino dining places in Tagaytay. If you would like simple, home cooked dinner, this is actually the place to go. 3) Service is great 4) An easy task to locate because it is quite near Little Souls, that is a landmark in Tagaytay 5) Loved ones favourites - Bulalo, Garlic Rice, Okoy, Tawilis, Sisig, Tapsilog, Pork Sinigang, Lechon Kawali Cons: 1) We could not really think about anything now. My encounter at Chars is definitely positive. Highly recommended. Will certainly return back when am in Tagaytay once again.

Great support, cozy ambiance and the meals is amazing and basic but well-crafted. I'd eat right here over Antonio's any time. Bagnet would be to die for

Wife and We visited for lunch nowadays. Cool rainy day time with hardly any customers yet the provider was indifferent at greatest if not just a little stand-off'ish. Liempo had not been fresh. Tasted alright but was obviously warmed over left-overs from before. The kare-kare has been tastyenough however the beef was virtually all fat with hardly any meats. The sisig was most likely the greatest of the three meals but was still barely something worth writing house over. No beer or wines served. Lovely little location and may be so far better should they tried but nowadays was a disappointment.

My Mom and We decided to keep for Tagaytay sooner than usual to avoid the large traffic along the way back house. Char’s is really a famous breakfast location (they open at 7:30AM) and genuine enough, their tables had been occupied when wearrived. The eating place is just a little nipa hut with a wallet garden in the front. They are identified because of their crispy bagnet and crispy tawilis along with their ube langka turon. The staff is quite attentive and helpful, and food costs are reasonable. Char’s Backyard sell a few potted plant life at cheaper prices in comparison to commercial plant retailers across the highway. The location is wonderful for families and large groupings.
