Not really liking the ambiance of this place and yes we did try their food out for merienda. We ordered burger steak and creamy pesto pasta and I have to say that their burger steak was a big mistake.Jollibee's version is more appetizing and delicious and cheaper! Haha but never the less place is rather good for drinking at night.

The place is just a typical normal resto. The food is just okay? Nothing's special and you won't get the value of money you paid for since the serving is not that much.

Carlos is my all-time favourite resto in Tagaytay, perfect place to unwind with friends because its over looking view of Taal Volcano. I always ordered their Quattro Formaggi, the crust is perfectly baked and the taste is just like heaven since i'am a really big fan cheese lol! Buffalo wings is also a must try here (of course with blue cheese dip haha), Carbonara (with lots of Parmesan cheese) and Tacos! Their homemade iced tea is very refreshing you can taste the citrusy as well the brewed tea. they also served beers. The place is very spacious perfect for big group and wisely makes use of the fresh cool air that Tagaytay is known for. Will surely keep coming back!!!

Stay away from their Lasagna. (Carlo's Lasagna) We were served with pancake textured pasta instead of the real pasta. Really disappointed. Mozzarella sticks are good. The colored nachos are just okay. The view was superb. The view deck is dirty with garbage around. The staff are polite.

Note: Late ReviewAfter x number of years, i am back. Hello Tagaytay, it's been a while. First stop was Carlo's Pizza, i remember having lunch here a decade ago. I still remember how good the food was. Sad to say, good things never last. Seafood Marinara Pasta. Marinara sauce, squid, mussells, topped with an unknown herb. This was a disappointment, the sauce lacks flavour, i had to drizzle habanero sauce to add depth. What happened Carlo? Sardina Pizza. I like my pizza crust thin and this one delivered. Mozzarella, spanish sardines, olives and white onions. Simple and oozing with flavour. The lesser the toppings the better, that's how i prefer my pizza. Simple pero Rock. 😊😊😊

We were on our way to Nasugbo for our anniversary weekend celebration when we got to try this restaurant. It was scorching hot and we had to stop by for a late lunch. The scenery and the cool air was a welcome. Rough but ample parking space. We had to try something new for pizza. Messicana (large, 465php)was our choice. Seasoned ground beef, tomato salsa, green bell pepper, onions, jalapeño, cilantro topped with cheese, shredded lettuce and sour cream. Uniquely great combination. For pasta, Puttanesca(210php), spaghetti with anchovies, capers, black olives and tomatoes. I just wished the servings were bigger for the price. Oh well, it's the premium for the location then.😜

Great View of Taal Lake at Carlo's PizzaI must say that they have one of the best locations for enjoying the magnificent view of Taal Lake and relishing the wintry cold Tagaytay air. It's a place for a relaxing al fresco dining, a weekend getaway to recharge your weary self. It could have been perfect but, alas, we were not satisfied with the food the first time we went here. That time, we ordered carbonara and pizza, the flavor of which I could not even recall anymore. The carbonara was way too ordinary-tasting for its price. There seems to be a lot of elements missing, flavor-wise. I have tasted other carbonara dishes that are exemplary but at a fraction of its price. The pizza, meanwhile, was so-so.However, on a positive note, I have heard that there are other must-try dishes here. I think we will try just those the next time we head to Tagaytay. When eating at Carlo's Pizza, it's very safe to allot P1,000 for two.

Being forever inlove with nature, I was excited when we reached this place. It had the perfect view for the the taal lake and taal volcano. But the excitement was easily defeated by the poor service that the restaurant staff offered us. They were lazy and were always inside the restaurant though the customers were all seated outside. The Babe had to go inside the restaurant just to let them know that we were ready to order. We had to call the waitress a number of times but it’s as if she was pretending to be deaf. They couldn’t argue that they were busy since there was barely anyone that time. Other than us, there was just one table filled by a couple.

Carlo's pizza is very regular for me. It is not memorable nor does it standout. I had their fried calamari and chicken pesto. It was okay for me.  Actually a bit on the blah side. I also had their baked pene which was the best dish of the three.
