On a random Sunday morning after mass, my mom was talking with one of our neighbors telling her we were on our way to Tagaytay. Excitedly, our neighbor recommended that if ever we found ourselves looking for somewhere to eat, that it should be in Balinsasayaw.I know Balinsasayaw has long been a Tagaytay staple but I didn't really know what was good here. So, we ordered what Tagaytay what famous for: Bulalo. The soup was very tasty and the meat was very tender. Sadly, though, we weren't served with the marrow. My favorite was their Fresh Lumpia. For some reason it had this burnt, meaty taste that went well with the ubod and sauce, making it really unique. For our drinks, we had their Pineapple and Green Mango Shake which we could tell were both from fresh fruits. We, my mom especially, enjoyed our meal here in Balinsasayaw. Eating in and being served in our own nipa hut definitely elevated the dining experience.

I ordered a large bilao of pancit buko. I was informed that the content would be of the same level with the bilao's height. I was disappointed when it was served. Sobrang konti. It's not even half of the bilao's height! And I'm certain that the serving is too small because the bilao is so light. Definitely not worth the wait and my money!

We were able to dine here because this is where my friend’s wedding reception is held. They traditional Filipino cuisine that are so good. The ambience is also nice, the nipa hut styles add to the traditional Filipino look.

We had a quick bulalo stop at Balinsasayaw. It was over crowded but we managed to get a table. Despite the busy place, the serving time was remarkably fast. Nothing exceptional but still a good stop to slurp some hot soup.

We always come here for our family dinner whenever we have celebration. Their food were simply amazing and its very affordable. Chicharon bulaklak is out top choice! Kare-kare is the best! Wide selection of Filipino dishes. Ambiance is good and staff are accommodating. We will always come back to this restaurant!

Great place to eat with friends and family. They have a lot of huts (kubo) to accommodate large groups. They have group meals as well. I recommend their bulalo, porkchop, and sisig. They have friendly staff as well and the weather is cool 😎

Balinsasayaw is your traditional filipino restaurant. From the design of the restaurant to their simple menu, you'll feel that you're just eating at your lola's garden. Nothing fancy. What I love about this restaurant is their serving. They actually have huge servings that we ended up just taking out almost half of the food we ordered. The taste of the food is nothing extraordinary. We ordered the crispy karekare, crispy tawilis and fried kangkong. The karekare is just meh, same as the fried kangkong. I enjoyed the crispy tawilis just because I really love crispy tawilis not because it tasted any different. The waiting time is just fine. The price of the food is decent as you may know, almost all of the restaurants in Tagaytay are kinda pricey just because pinupuntahan siya ng mga tao. But it's all good, for the karekare's price of 500+php, pwede na kasi it's good for 3-5 people. Will I come back? Nah! Not because I had a bad experience or anything but because there's nothing to come back for. The food is something you can eat at home. And the place is not overlooking the Taal volcano kasi it's on the other side of Tagaytay pa.

one of the best places to eat bulalo when in tagaytay. their bulalo is tasty and generous in serving size, plus the ambiance and view are really great. you get to eat in one of the nipa huts outside with a great view of the taal lake and volcano. be patient during peak seasons/holidays as the serving time could be slower

So there, we went here with my gf’s family and relatives to try their food. So we ordered grilled squid, bulalo, buttered shrimps, fish and many other viands. The foods are okay, we liked the bulalo, so yummy and generous in the amount of beef chunks. Super dope. Their bagnet is super nice super duper love it. A must try!The squid is okay typical grilled with fillings inside. I loved it.The halo halo in coconut shell is okay but too sweet because of the ice cream. Maybe I would prefer to put it in a typical halo halo bowl.Mango crepe is nice. The leche plan is good. I liked it.Maybe next time we will try other food selections in the menu.By the way the ambiance is nice, quite and very peacefully if you are a nature lover try here. :)
