This is my first time to give a review in website and I want my first review to be about Bag of Beans. The first time I visited this place I already fell inlove with the rustic ambience and homely feel but what really made me comeback is their Chocolate Mousse. I must say they have best tasting Mousse that I have experienced so far. It was smooth and sweet. And just last Sunday night, we visited again to eat chocolate mousse and tried a new dish. So we tried Shepherd's pie. I didn't expect so much but the presentation was simple yet elegant. All I can say is "Wow", it was mouthwatering, the flavors were not overwhelming but complemented each other (Mashed Potato and ground Beef) and it was very light yet fulfilling. I will definitely comeback will try some of their dishes.

Bag of Beans is the go-to place in Tagaytay. I love their shabby chic and homey interiors. I love their food, coffee and pastries. We already had our lunch so we decided to have coffee and dessert here instead.Coffee and raisin bread were so good, the apple pie and chocolate mousse was too sweet for me though.I would have given this branch a higher rating but the waiter was a tad lazy to do his job. We always have to call their attention for everything. Twin Lakes branch should train their staff better but since I love Bag of Beans, will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Everyone loves Tagaytay because of cold weather and restaurants around the area. Just recently, my officemates and I decided to spend our morning here on our way to Nasugbu. Since it was too early for us to go the beach, I asked them if we could have coffee at Bag of Beans in Twin Lakes just to kill off the time we had for that day. Bag of Beans opens as early as 7:00 in the morning and serves breakfast for morning people. There were diners when we got there and staff seemed very busy. We seated in one corner as their veranda wasn't opened yet. I loved the rustic and homey ambiance of Bag of Beans. Lakas maka aura with ig-worthy photos! From every detail, you're going to love everything you can see inside. They even have the corner where you can select some pasalubongs to bring home. I ordered hot chocolate since I'm not a coffee person and believe me, it was the rich tasting hot chocolate I'd tried. It was really really creamy that I wanted more of it. It was comforting and satisfying at the same time.

If you wanna dine in w/a view then Bag of Beans in Twin Lakes is the perfect go to spot. I went here on a weekday so it wasn't as crowded but during weekends I suggest you book a table in advanced. As for the food, I'm quite satisfied with their meals. Their dishes are pretty pricey but totally worth it ESPECIALLY their blueberry cheesecake. I just can't seem to get enough of it & that's why I keep coming back for more 🤤

I have been always a big fan of all-day breakfast places such as Bag of Beans. Part of the all-day breakfast menu is the Country Style breakfast which is what we've ordered. It comes with e layers of fluffy buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs (can be scrambled or sunny side up), bacon strips, and 2 sausages. Everything is great! Comparing it to the "eggs & bacon or sausage" dish, wiyh a 25php difference, I can say that this order is more worth its price given that you get to have both bacon and sausages, and pancakes instead of bread. We also ordered Shepherd's Pie as they say that is the most ordered dish among all other pies. The mashed potato and ground beef were kinda dry and sort-of lacked the taste I was looking for. Although this is cheaper than the other dishes, I don't think I'll order this again. Not sure though if they have the same quality in their other Bag of Beans branches. We also got cafe latte and kapeng barako. Both tasted good! (I just forgot to take a photo of it).Ambiance and service is nice. You also get to see the view of the Twin Lakes Hotel.Bag of Beans is a great place to spend your weekends and holidays with both family and friends. I'll definitely go back!

I have a thing for Bag of Beans. This branch is subtle, quiet (or maybe because every time we are here, they’re not busy) and comforting. Dined here 3 times because it is nearest to Nasugbu.Same taste of food with other branches; however, there was one instance I ordered Bangus and it wasn’t fried to perfection and it looked soggy. But the view outside is perfect with a cup (or more) of their house-blend coffee and the famous blueberry cheesecake. The servers were nice. The last time, they accommodated us for coffee and dessert even if they were closing in less than 10 minutes.

I love this branch of Bag of Beans. The food is awesome, pricey but worth every centavo. Aside from the superb service of their crew and staff, you get a bonus of a stunning view of Taal Volcano.

I love the Tocino breakfast more than the Tapa Special. I love the sweetness of the capuccino and the pancakes we had. 4 stars only since the meals are too pricey for a typical Filipino breakfast. But I actually love it anyways.

The place is homey. Offered Filipino breakfast are great, best sellers are the Daing na Bangus and Beef Tapa, platters with rice, egg and delicious atchara, priced reasonably for their big serving. The red velvet cake is good partnered with their house blend coffee ☕️. They have shelves of “pasalubong” presentably packaged but priced few pesos higher than those offered in pasalubong stores in Tagaytay.

Had their roast beef (as always) and found that Charito’s branch served bigger and tastier portions. Nevertheless, we had a fun time. Ambience is very cozy. Bery nice view of Taal lake.
