It has a wonderful, cosy and modern atmosphere that clicks properly with the newer era sufficient reason for a taste for fashionable. All of the drinks open to customers are therefore wide in range, actually the difficult to please tongues will be satisfied with your options.Its not merely their drinks/espresso/lattes that the client can choose from. Should they choose to they are able to nibble on something sweet that would enhance the bitter aftertaste of the espresso. If you are there to basically read, you will get cosy on one of these special sofa or couches offered. Just be prepared with a sweater/cardigan, though cos it could get chilly. :)

Comfy seats, massive drink selection (We don't drink espresso so can't touch upon the quality), We had a watermelon crush thing that was nice enough. Good, clean location where one can settle down for many hours. I'm going to be back definitely. Food menus looked overpriced thoughand simply no Filipino dishes, but Perhaps they're targeting a particular clientele.

Place offers great atmosphere and is smartly designed. Lately though, the area looks a bit previous . Cushions on the chairs are deformed, the inside design haven't changed during the past what, 10 years roughly? I am hoping they spruce the area up becauseit is really a Tacloban organization and the locals, like me, are pleased with this pioneering espresso joint. Coffee and meals is fine. What makes the area stand-out will be its being truly a hub for meet-ups and conversations of the locals. Oh don't be prepared to surf well right here, WIFI signal is quite weak.

It is a helpful and nice place. They're lucky that there surely is hardly any competition for espresso in the city. They have to pay more focus on their espresso. It is very costly for a a one photo. They need to provide their qualityup to specifications.

Nice place... great and attentive staff... espresso s ok....We had a Jose karlo s frap that was ok but a little bland on the espresso... the pastry I acquired, I believe pistachio sans rival had been too sweet yet without texture .

Jose Karlos is really a normal haunt if mine and is situated simply behind Santo Ninoi church off Zamora Road. With an excellent interior decor and seating outside - and the very best free wifi around - this cafe is quite populat with expats and localsalike. Tasty sweets and cakes lead to for an excellent stop-off while downtown. Opens 9am Mon thru Saturday.

Cafe is a little bit rundown. I experienced cafe mocha and cookies. Costs are sensible and WiFi was very stable when I has been there.

By far among the best cheesecakes within the town! Fairly priced as well. But what pieces Jose Karlos aside from other coffee stores may be the location. The outdated college feel of the sofa and the brick wall space (or what is apparently brick walls) makesthe store an excellent place to relax following a stressful day. Would appreciate the area a lot more if the restrooms were held just a little cleaner. By enough time of our go to, it smelled of pee, unfortunately. An enormous disappointment because the remaining place is quite tidy.
