We visited this restaurant randomly, once we drove by it along the way from San Fernando back again to Manila, it was lunchtime and we were hungry for a few local food. The restaurant is decorated quite rustic however in a good way. We orderedgoat caldereta, duck sisig and dinengdeng as well as garlic rice. The goat caldereta has been nice, almost not really gamey. The duck sisig had been tasty, and a bit spicy. The dinengdeng has been disappointing - this is a veggie soup, but the vegetables had been overcooked and there is minimal taste. When eaten alongside the duck sisig nevertheless, it arrived quite nice. Take notice that while this location is quite fairly priced, the portions aren't that big - thus between two people, you'd need to order 3-4 meals to fill (plus rice). The only real negative things I could say is that it's quite warm (not necessarily air-conditioned) and that the service is relatively slower. We waited over around 30 minutes for our food.

Conveniently located across the national highway immediately after the Baguio intersection towards Ilocos, we found the restaurant an excellent respite from our longer travel. They will have fresh fruit juice shakes, seafood and mutton. The portions are simply right and so are served hot. It is a good placeto sample regional cooking food in the North.

Nice stopover for foods for tourists to Ilocandia and Abra. Savor Filipino cuisine specifically "Bulalo" and "Kaldereta".

Completely from Ilocos, all of us took the San Fernando bypass street to keep from the heavy visitors in your community. It was lunchtime when we surely got to the primary highway and our objective was to choose a comfortable (ideally a restothat assist seafood) spot to stopover for lunch time. Our lookup was futile due to the fact only local fastfood is seen across the highway from bauang-caba-aringay-agoo...with hopes down and nearing the final town of una union, my husband glimpsed a spot forward with several cars parked outside and that is when we browse the indication "Kambak Resto and Grill". We immediately stopped and decided to cease there for lunch time regardless if we think it is so-so. To your surprise, this resto proved super-super!...We discovered that lots of vacationers from the north have previously discovered this location and were currently enjoying their lunch, a lot of them in big groups/households. The menus resembles that of a music book listing in videokes, exhausted and dilapidated however the menu checklist was substantial and the costs were inexpensive (waitress said per purchase serves 2-3 individuals). We were a little skeptical initially given the reasonable price per purchase so we simply opted to obtain tuna kinilaw and sinigang na malaga (a seafood that resembles that of tilapia), 2 glasses of rice and a pitcher of cucumber lemonade. Real sufficiently, the kinilaw na tuna had been served first and even, it was best for sharing and flavor...oh nicely, it had an ideal balance of salt and vinger with generous mixture of chopped ginger, onions and chili. The glass of rice is wonderful for 2 really, and I didn't reach finish mine. Are you aware that sinigang na malaga (first-time i heard about that kind of seafood), it tasted and appeared much better than tilapia. It's pinkish in colour, flatter and tastier with the sinigang bottom soured by refreshing sampaloc and tomatoes! The cucumber lemonade pitcher is indeed refreshing and even experienced slices of cucumber to highlight the taste (since we can not consume what's still left in the pitcher, that they had it transferred in two plastic material cups with dome lids and bendable straws). Our total bill?...just P540! We had been so happy to have discovered this resto and can definitely consider KAMBAK-ing for even more! I hope they'll not become like additional known stopover websites who dramatically boosts their price, while compromising the portioning and flavor of their meals.

Their sinigang na kambing was delicioso!. We furthermore like their calamari that was flawlessly prepared and their bistek has been tender. Will certainly go back.
