My wife and I decided to try out this restaurant out of curiosity, the food was "OK" but the service was really bad. The staff aren't attentive and it took more than 20 mins for our main course to arrive. There are a lot of better restaurants nearby but if you really are craving for Vietnamese food, The House of Bawai is your only option.

Incredibly long wait for what are supposedly easy to prepare dishes, as as our orders were comprised mostly of salads. Worse, service crew are just congregating near the entrance, with just one lady crew, Lora Ann, diligently attending to all our needs. Taste is as to be expected for Vietnamese inspired dishes, nothing spectacular stood out. Added points however for the classy venue, and the hardworking Lora :)

I was originally able to try Bawai's at their branch in Tagaytay a few years back. During that visit, It was the freshness of their ingredients that stood out! Anyways, I was surprised when they opened here at Nuvali. Ordered one of their soups plus the oh so favorite spring rolls. Though I can't differentiate them much from other Vietnamese restaurants, again the freshness of their ingredients still stood out. Not much of a fan of their cuisine though as some of the items tend to be on the bland side. Still, I will go here to have a refreshing and clean meal!

I was really excited to try The House of Bawai because of all of the good reviews about the branch in Tagaytay! True enough, this branch had great service, and it served good quality Vietnamese dishes! My family ordered the fried spring rolls to start our meal. They were served fresh, but I wish they added more lettuce on the side to complement rolls. We also ordered the Bawai's Salad, which was only OK. The ingredients weren't as fresh as I expected them to be. Next, I ordered the Pho Bo for my main dish. The beef was a little overdone but the broth was very tasty! I also recommend their iced Vietnamese coffee and the Banh Da Lon for your dessert.

Vietnamese cuisine is one if my favourites. Their dishes are mostly comprised with fresh ingredients that will make you feel full and satisfied without the guilt.Let me start with its crisp interior. It exudes understated elegance, the use of black and concrete with wood branches in oak stain is simply beautiful (at least for me).Bawai's salad is my favourite in this restaurant, it is simply refreshing and delicious. Bon Bu Xao (beef dry noodle) is another dish that is a must try as well as Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls).A trip to any vietnamese restaurant is not complete without trying their famous vietnamese drip coffee and theirs did not disappoint. The house of bawai is not to miss in this area. ;)
