The place is great! Very cozy and pure with their all white interior matched with their doodle art on the wall. However, I was sort of disappointed with their food. It was a little bland for me as I expected it to be more tasty. Overall it's a nice place with an average tasting food.

Before heading back home, we dropped by here to try their milkshakes. I wanted to check out this place's branch in Parañaque so I was really ecstatic when I found out that there's a branch in Nuvali. I ordered the Strawberry Milkshake but for me, it tastes like the usual milkshakes plus it's too sweet as well. Maybe next time, I'll try other flavors and who knows, I might find them relatively more appealing to my taste buds.

After having lunch, circling Solenad, and having a haircut, me and my boyfriend still had time to spare before the show of the Magical Field of Lights begins. We first thought of going to a tea place by the cinemas, since this area is closest to the fields. But after finding out that there are no seats for us to use, we continued walking and found Milky Moustache.

We were actually craving for halo halo from Kuya J but the lines were unreasonably long so we decided to look for another dessert place. My sister who loves board games was attracted to the sign "keep calm and play boardgames"We asked for the bestsellers which were the pencil (salted caramel), mario (kitkat), and  english moustache (cookies and cream). Milky moustache offered milkshakes in two sizes but some milkshakes were only available in large. Out of curiosity I asked what kind of ice cream they used for their milkshakes. The waiter told me they made their own ice cream. We ordered the pencil, english moustache, villan, and avocado. I ordered the avocado even if it looks like the most boring among all our orders because I wanted to be able to taste their homemade ice cream without any mix ins. 😄The pencil was the best milkshake among all that we've ordered. The caramel wasn't too sweet and the milkshake tasted perfect, making us want more. The english moustache was also delicious. It had the perfect balance of cookies and the right sweetness. However, both the avocado and villan were a disappointment. The avocado shake tasted bland and lacked the avocado smell and creaminess I was looking for. The villan was okay at the start but once you reach the middle, you get tired of it. It was a bit watery/icy. It was missing something we couldn't point our fingers at. Maybe more ice cream? Their medium size is also kind of "bitin" because we wanted more pencil and english mustache milkshake.Price 2/5Ambiance 3/5 the walls were made out of glass so you had to pick the least sunny spot during afternoonsService 4/5What we ordered:Pencil (Salted caramel, medium size) P 120Avocado (medium size) P 120 -English moustache (Cookies and cream, medium size) P 120Villan (chocomalt, Only available in large size) P 195(The avocado and villan were the only ones I was able to take a photo of)They should remove the keep calm and play boardgames sign because it is very misleading. When we asked for boardgames, they told us that the management has decided to stop lending their boardgames. 😒

After watching a movie at noon, I realized that I didn't have a decent meal yet. Coffee, popcorn and juice were the only contents of my stomach. There were a lot of only in Nuvali restaurants but I decided to reserve them for when I had company so I could try more dishes.Milky Moustache sounded interesting but I ended up not getting a shake as I still felt full. My Fettuccine a la Carbonara was bland even after I mixed in all that cheese. The portion looked small but I sure had a hard time finishing my food. It was presented nicely and I took tons of photos. The advantages of dining solo hahaWhen hubby arrived he decided on merienda of Baked Macaroni. Although it looked like a giant chunk of mystery pasta, it tasted way better than the Carbonara. It was flavorful, cheesy and a bit sweet.I loved the details and design elements - the tiny tabletop Christmas tree, the wooden box for the utensils and ok fine the cute heart shaped cheese container. The lightbulb glass for the iced tea was a nice touch. The couch seats were comfortable and there were several tables who were playing board games. You just need to surrender an id at the cashier to borrow their games. We were there on a very hot and sunny afternoon. The airconditioning was cold but their tint-less blind-less glass walls and door could not keep the glare of the sun out. I could eventually feel the sun crawling in.In case I find myself back here, i'd definitely order a shake and maybe play board games.*visited last December 2016
