Today is a weekday 3pm. Not much customers since its not peak hours but our order of halo halo hasn't arrived. 30 mins and counting. Not sure what's the delay. Better they not advertise or put it on table toppers.

c kUya J Nuvali paasa, we asked before coming in if Ube halo was available and they confirmed. But after getting and settling into our seat, sasabihin wala at White halo lang available. Sabe pasensya na at hindi daw na double check. anu pa nga ba?

Food is great, just what my Filipino tastebuds are looking for. Hahaha generous servings too for the price. But everytime I go to a Kuya J restaurant, a staff would accidentally break either glasses or plates. lol Kitchen doesn't look so nice in a closer view, counter can be real messy at times.

Been wanting to try their Crispy Pata, I finally did. Visited this restaurant on a public holiday and was disappointed to see that there were only 4 waiting staff to accommodate a fully-packed establishment which affected the service greatly. We were the 1st customers there at 11am, and the lavatory was already filthy. The food was sub-standard, nothing special: crispy shrimps were hard to chew, garlic rice was oily, adobo sa mangga & pochero bulalo were ok but the Crispy Pata was perfectly cooked :)

Food is great. Service is extremely bad. Not once. Not twice. Thrice that I've been here.Refrain from eating dinner here during weekends as everything from the menu is not offered already. You might get disappointed because almost 60% of their best sellers are sold out already at 8PM.Tokwa't baboy is different from the typical with fresh onions. It doesn't have any.Kare-kareng bagnet is great.Garlic rice. Uh uh.Sizzling pork chop (not sure what it's exactly called) is just fine. Bistek style which I did not find appetizing. In my opinion, it's too bland.Chopseuy is ok.Buko shake is too sweet.Mango shake is fine.Bangus sinigang is good. Just a little salty.

The staffs are accommodating, at first, but when customers kept on coming in and the whole place is jam-packed, the number of waiters seems not enough anymore and they have forgotten our request of additional rice.2nd, this annoying customers beside our seat totally got on our nerves. It is my 1st time to encounter a fellow diner who has too much air on his head, so as his family. When they arrived, the waiter told the guy (the father, around 40's) to choose another table as the ones beside us seems too cramped, but the guy snapped at the waiter and said ~"Bakit, ikaw ba ang uupo!"~ isn't it too much?! Poor waiter..When it is time to take the order, the man once again berated the poor waiter because not all of the food on the menu is available. That guy is just a pain , while the daughter is too boastful and kept on bringing out all her phones from her bag! The first time I have been to Nuvali, the people seems all well-educated, but this 2nd visit got me all wrong, coz this bunch is definitely not!Well, let me go back to the food, the kare-kare is a little bland, with little serving of bagoong. Their sisig is the best, it is not the usual one that is made of minced pork. The crispy pata is also really good, very crispy and large. The halo-halo is good enough for sharing with 2 people. The price is a little expensive, if you are going to order as much as we did.The place, is good enough, but the aircon is not too cold.

hi good evening, may i ask to whom must i say something regarding your newest branch at Sm Sta Rosa? i didnt like how your lady receptionist at the doorway treated me & my hubby just earlier this evening at a bit past 6pm April 17th, 2017. considering that it was a surprise dinner for me as it was my birthday last April 13th. I lost all interest to enter or eat there. Staff at Kuya J Resto in San Pablo were more cheerful & accommodating when we ate there several months ago.  i was happy sana that you had opened a branch here at SM Sta Rosa. Upon arrival at the entrance of the resto in Sta Rosa, there were so many vacant tables. Lady receptionist blocked the doorway saying that there was no halo-halo. Did we look like we were just going to eat that? We said why not let us in as your blocking the doorway. So we could see whats available sa menu & order. Naku hinde pa rin gumalaw un receptionist sa doorway. She asked what were we going to order. Hello, ganun b klase ng training nyo? My hubby got mad na kc seems she was discriminating as she made others enter. was it because we were not FORMALLY dressed which is not uso nmn nowadays. Hey, in Kuya J Sm San Pablo staff were all so friendly, accommodating.   Considering that we were discussing at the blocked doorway by your receptionist, NOT even your resto mgr or supervisor had come forward to see what was happening.  ok,  sabi ko give me the menu which is highly unethical at the doorway for a dine-in  customer, we were handed a very old tattered menu.  Ay caramba this was what really pissed me off na, more so when your receptionist said "Pasensya lng  po kc bago ako dito"  Hinde e2 dapat sabihin if your staff had the proper training! We wouldnt be that dumb or stupid to enter a restaurant not prepared for expense to be incurred. You guys just spoiled what was supposed to be my birthday dinner. your other fault was no respect for a Sr Citizen. I do expect an explanation.  So hurt, so disgusted.

The food is bad, especially the sisig. It tasted nothing like a real sisig. Some were so bland they tasted tha same. The rice looked like it was cooked a day before.
