We’re a big group and I called to reserve. I was told they only accept reservation for walk-ins. So I went ahead earlier for our 6pm dinner. A girl named Cathy said there is an available table BUT she cannot give it to me yet unless we’re complete. I was not even allowed to wait inside. I patiently waited OUTSIDE and endured the summer heat while waiting for other family members having a hard time to find parking. I begged we are having a graduation celebration and showed her pictures. Still she did not let me in. So finally we had our dinner. The stoves grillers were not working properly. Customers kept complaining of the smoke. Worst part was, the waiter stood behind me forcing us to rate Soban on website. He was even the one who tapped 5 stars on my phone while standing behind me. Of course I did not allow that! He said for us to get free dessert we should rate them first. 2 coffee jelly desserts were served but we did not touch it. Turn off

I’ve been to BananaLeaf few times now and have never been let down by the food (compliments to the chef). The Rotis, rendang, curry, salad are a must eat. Portion size seems to be a bit small , but whats lacking in size is covered up by the bursting flavors
