We went for the late lunch with Balikbayan Cafe. I read reviews they were great but evidently we trusted reviews an excessive amount of for the own good. The meals was horrible. Service, actually worst. Arrived there about 1pm roughly. The place was very emptyand we were considering, maybe we're approved the lunch hour or possibly folks are still at the seaside. We purchased baked scallops, grilled squid, meats pizza and spaghetti bolognese. Very first, the scallops tasted enjoy it wasn't clean. We just originated from the Bantayan city proper and I understand fresh scallops are accessible. That one tasted off. The grilled squid had been okay. The Spaghetti Bolognese, the sauce isn't too poor, however the pasta was natural. Definately not al dente. The garlic loaf of bread was dried out and the flavour has been like they added glowing blue cheese in the butter. And lastly the pizza, that awful pizza where in the dough had been sweet and crispy. Initially I thought they managed to get like a deepdish because the form of the pizza has been a a pie. Then there is the meats filling with pineapple and the think level of mozzarella that it had been like chewing a large gum ball. Try when i might, I could not really swallow it. We didn't also bother to complete our food. The provider seems tired and felt that people are imposing in it by ordering food. I am aware that it is island lifestyle. Nonetheless it was ridiculous they were all seated on the round desk near the entry and didn't monitor us (we sat on the bench area by the end of the eating place) and at the very least handful of attention will be appreciated. Usually, I wouldn't write poor evaluations, but it's ridiculous the way the restaurant is. Maybe am wrong, but certainly wouldn't normally want to return back there.

We've been for lunch 1 day under the rainfall. It was just a little darkish but ok. The meals was regional and we loved it a whole lot. Drinks were cool. Just a little slow but that's normal. In the event that you wanna try nearby food it isa spot to go.
