It is a small cafe that is somewhat difficult to find, if by car. It includes a concept of a prison/courtroom with an execution space. Some tables are usually within bars to provide you with that prisoner sense. It's cool really. Posted on the walls are postersof various kinds of execution previously. We continued a weekend also it was crowded. Personnel are friendly and so are willing to get your candid pics whenever they're available. Meals is tasty and also have quirky names as well. Like what I've purchased which resembles a penne and it's really named garrote. My mother had stoning (spaghetti). They were really tasty combined with the pizza we purchased (forgot the title). I've posted the menus below for reference. They near around 10pm. Personnel wore monochrome stripes as uniform and there's one uniquely dressed because the jail guard. Costs range from 180 or more. Still affordable. Positive thing is they take cards. And by the end of your food you might have your mugshot at the cafe entry. Will certainly try again.

Good concept of the area, very unique. I simply hope they function the food hot however, it'sstill good. Def returning!

I guess I'm one among those oversensitive people that can't stand to be reminded of criminal offense, executions along with other sordid things while We eat, but in the event that you are unfazed by that sort of thing and such as quirky locations Caffe Piansa is most likely for you personally. In the interests of fairness, however, my ranking of 4 stars considers food quality and support, not really the the theme. Caffe Piansa is really a prison/courthouse-themed restaurant. You can find booths designed to appear to be jail cells, much like Alcatraz ER in Shibuya. Gleam fake electric chair close to among the booths and a "lineup" area-slash-photobooth where one can grab yourself photographed by way of a friend supporting your response to the question, "What exactly are you set for?" Waitstaff are dressed up in prison stripes and there are many gowns as prison wardens. Very cool. The food was alright, not fantastic, however, not horrible either. We had been served about 20 moments after ordering. We had been a large group. Most menu items possess quirky, sometimes offensive, names motivated by crimes, criminals, and ways of execution, like the Gasoline Chamber, a pasta dish, and, I child you not, Raped Seafood (a breaded mackerel dish.) both which I came across in pretty bad flavor and sort of made the meals seem less appealing We ordered the Korean Barbecue, that was okay, while my buddy ordered the John Wayne Gacy, which he liked. Can't keep in mind what the others of our celebration ordered. Serving sizes for some meals were on the common side. Service was good... The staff were sport for anything and appeared to be used to presenting their pictures taken with diners. Good service matters too much to me, which explains why I rated this resto four celebrities instead of three. If you are into theme dining places and aren't very easily offended, you need to probably give this location a go. Note that car parking is bound and the cafe is sort of small, so if you are planning to bring many people with you you need to probably call ahead.

The initial ever jail-themed restau in the Philippines. Apart from a good interior Food comes in large servings and its very reasonable. Its a fusion...they will have an american, spanish, italian and filipino meals. They will have an ala carte and a collection menus. Thumbs up forthe services..when you choose any kind of from the set menus they'll serve you the meals accordingly from soup and appetizers first then your main dish then your dessert. While looking forward to your orders they'll enable you to take pictures in the event that you opt to.

It was just okay we ordered grilled porkchop and beef burger the burger is kinda dissapointing since it felt enjoy it was too oily for me personally it's just like the bun absorbs all of the essential oil from the burger patty in addition their serving size isn't goodfor sharing i'll just purchase jollibee champ since it is a lot more tastier and bigger due to the fact they have almost exactly the same cost and the fries was only a typical french fries. Thumbs around the grilled porkchop it had been delish but their helping seize was small we felt like it has been 'bitin' from me however the creme brulee yummmmmyy..😊☺

Caffè Piansa: The initial jail-themed restaurant opens every day from 10:00am to 2:00pm and from 5:00pm-10:00pm. It really is situated ate: 57 Dragon St., Midtown Subdivision, San Roque, Marikina City. Prior to going at Caffè Piansa, I currently asked for a reservation to be seated at a tableinside a cell. My error: I forgot to inquire the nearest landmark of these place. Upon arrival, we got seated at a four seater desk, and inside a cellular. Yehey! The waiter who's wearing a outfit of a jail safeguard welcomed us warmly. Pluses for that one. For the Forcible Entrèe, we ordered Buffalo Wings. For the Adulterous Salad, we ordered Feta and Citrus Salad. For his or her Execution Pasta: Gas Chamber Because of their Wheel of Torture(Pizza): Wheel of Torture #2 (16inches) For his or her Chicken: Cordon Bleu Because of their Seafood: Prawn Thermidor Do you know what? We came really hungry, however when we remaining, our belly were happy. I'm so content with their foods. Everything was completely made. The one thing we discovered disturbing: they prepared the meals once you purchased it, but after they served it for you, it's already chilly. Have no idea the reason. After all, we waited for just how many minutes to get our orders, therefore we expected everything to be sizzling very hot, but unfortunately, all the food were cool. Anyway, it generally does not affect the taste. Nevertheless, yummy and to-die cravings. Recommendation: I'm extremely recommending this Very first Jail Themed Cafe to all or any of you visitors and friends. Not merely due to its theme, but mainly due to the uniqueness with regards to their menu & most especially, because of the food. Overall Satisfaction (5-point ranking scale): Food: 4.5 Place: 3.5 Price: 4 Staff: 4.5 Overall Rating: 4.13 (Will certainly come back) P.S. All photos are available within my blog but I cannot promote it here because it wasn't permitted by the management. Furthermore, I visited this place very last November 2015.

I really like themed restaurants but we find this a little morbid. Probably due to the jail styles inside mainly painted in dark colours, evidently dark dominated the ambience that produced silence and precisely what complements dark shades. Anyhow, the food is fairly alright. weordered lengua, creamy plus some seafood pasta. The steak has been for me average, not really generous serving but reasonably priced

Food tastes great! You may also have your picture taken just like a mugshot with a cardboard where one can write a criminal offense you committed! Pleasant for everyone, not only for law students!
