Rediscovered this old [college] love because of website and Booky!! I used to frequent Xocolat in Katipunan more than a decade ago. Such a delight to enjoy the same familiar taste and quality now. Food is flavorful, servings are substantial and the price is beyond reasonable. Their Wicked Hot Chocolate is currently my favorite hot chocolate. I love the spicy kick! I now prefer it over Mary Grace's Mexicana hot chocolate. Xocolat only has 2 branches, but it surely is top of mind as a place to eat should I find myself in Greenhills or Loyola heights.

Very good service though limited staff. Super nice hot chocolate. One of the best I've had. Yummy churos. Sugarless cake, not that great though.

We liked everything that was served to us. The Chicken Salpicao and Xocolat Pork Belly that both paired with mashed potato were really good. For dessert, I really loved their That Xocolat cake which was very moist. However, I thought the Salted Caramel Tablea cake was a bit dry. I'm giving it 5 stars for the good service and the value for money.

Ordered the hot Xocolat and it was served ten minutes later. It's served in a tall glass mug with chocolate tablets at the bottom and the server poured hot milk on top. I liked the flair with how this was served, it's typical of French cafes. You need to mix the chocolate well with the milk to ensure a balanced taste. The chocolate is a bit on the dark note compared to my liking. I will probably order something sweeter next time. The cafe itself is a bit dark and cramped, being situated next to the escalator to the cinema. It's not the best ambience to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate.Service was okay.

We had our lunch here at Xocolat Promenade. This is located side by side of Coffee Beans GF.We ordered their best seller Pork Belly, Spiced Xoco Chicken, Xocolat Chicken Pasta, Creamy Pesto Pasta. It took 30minutes for our order to be served. I think they made everything from scratch. And then for dessert, there are various option for cakes. We grabbed their Salted Caramel Tablea, That Xocolat Cake, The Sugar Free Cake and the Brownie Ala Mode. 😋

Xocolat in promenade is found in the foodcourt. Food-wise it taste great. They wide selection of rice meal and pasta and all have a little twist of chocolate on it. Suprisingly it tastes great and doesnt spoil the original taste of the dish. We got the spiced xocolat chicken rice and the beef tapa rice...I heard that their xocolat moist cake are to die for, so i will try it next time.

Hey Xocolat, your food is always great and youd desserts top notch. Yesterday I noticed your staff looked exhausted, orders slowing down, and super short handed. I go to this branch a lot, and usually there's only 2 of them. Most of the food is cooked from a meal prep, I assume, and the drinks are made fresh with the desserts cut on the spot and pre-cut. I hope you guys give them minimum wage and add someone else to the staff. They looked so tired already, and the quality of your food also goes down if your staff are tired af. Lagi pa naman may tao tong branch.

What we had:Chicken SalpicacaoPork BellyChurrosXocolat LavaWhat we liked:More than the chocolate-themed menu items that the cafe offers, the meals were very tasty, given their creative take on common Filipino dishes. I really really liked their pork belly though, the meat was very tender and it goes with a sauce, and mashed potato with melted cheese on top. It has this distinct flavor together and is very very tasty.Edit:I wouldn’t go to Xocolate without their Pork Belly, the flavors are just impressively unique and blends well with each other at the same time. Tried their chicken dish and although it wasn’t as memorable, it is in itself a good pick in their menu, and the serving size was too big I could have not finished it by myself.
