I make a reservation 5 days prior to our dinner but nobody informed us that it would be two sitting! The fact that i called twice to change the number of person I reserved! Until the day of reservation, I received a txt. Bad trip talaga sila. it is a birthday dinner pa naman! Anyway we went to Okada and I spend 25k there. Money well spend!

Food is good but not the service that we lost our appetite to order more and wished to just finish the food quickly, hoping the service to improve.

We are at present on a 3 weeks vacation in Manila, Philippines. Some close relatives treated us for lunch Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the Tomo Japanese Dining, 137 Araullo, San Juan, Metro Manila. The food is authentic and very good. We had ordered and enjoyed numerous dishes. The only comment I can make is that the deep fried salmon skin was a little greasy. The personnel are very helpful, attentive and professional. Very highly recommendable.

Went here on a Wednesday night and the place was full. The staff were attentive and polite despite of the busy dinner rush.My partner and I ordered, 😄Spicy salmon sashimi😄Cheese oysters 😄Samurai steak😀Chawan mushi😀Dynamite roll😊Yasai Kani salad😊YakiudonThe cheese oysters and sashimi were amazing. No words.💯 The samurai steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Chawan mushi was nicely done, it didn't curdle, very smooth.❤Their Yakiudon is a little too rich though, and the Yasai Kani salad was literally shredded crab sticks on lettuce😆But still, this place is a great Japanese restaurant.

Good food, bad service. Had to wait forever for the bill and another lifetime for our excess food to get wrapped. Asked for water and tea but had to wait forever for it, too. Never coming back here.

It was my first time trying out Tomo after hearing so many good reviews from different friends. I was really surprised at how big and nice the place is! It was like its own mini Japanese village inside which was really impressive! The food was really good too. I loved their Spicy Tuna and their best selling Kaki Cheese Yaki (grilled Oysters with Cheese)! The Tendon Donburi was also different compared to others because of their special sauce. I was also surprised to find out that the prices weren’t as expensive as I thought it would be. It was too bad that the scallops were already out, as they only order few amounts and are only available during Saturdays. The waitress advised us to have the scallops reserved on Friday night before eating on a Saturday. I can’t wait to try their other dishes!

One of my go-to restaurants in the area!! Food is always super good! My faves are the karekareyaki (the oysters), tempura, spicy tuna, and the chirashi ❤️

Fresh, authentic Japanese food. This restaurant surely tops or will be included in my top Japanese restaurants to date. I love all the dishes we ordered. For instance, the tempura is not oily, but really crispy. I love the crazy maki and the spicy tuna. Their maguro really tasted fresh. I'm a fan of their beef tenderloin as well. Though the flavors are similar to the usual beef teppan available in other Japanese restaurants, the quality of beef is definitely a notch higher. Will definitely go back again if I crave for Japanese food.
