I'm a shrimp junkie and having read all positive feedback about Mardi Gras flavor of Shrimp Bucket, my expectations were rocket high. Then BOOM. I got confused! I was wondering if I ordered bolognese or menudo as the ground beef attempted to add flavor to their BLAND BUCKET OF SHRIMP. All night I was searching for that shrimp taste, the kinda salty, kinda fresh from the sea. Their shrimp tasted like CHICKEN BREAST because that's how BLAND it was. If you want shrimp that is not "malansa", this is the place for you but then again, authentic shrimp lovers will never want shrimp tasting anything less than "malansa". Ugh!!!! Truth be told, I'd rather eat in dampa anyday!!!!

Still good for seafood lovers. We ordered Mardi Gras Mussels & Coco (South) bucket of shrimps. Taste wise? Still with quality and just by the smell when you open the bags, you can tell it's tastiness. A little pricy but it's worth your money. I was also surprised that we were able to get seats already available when we came in. Availabilty of seats in their bgc branch is really difficult to get specially on weekends. It's also difficult to find a parking space here. We need to walk from v-mall to promenade to shrimp bucket but again, everything's worth it.

Salted egg shrimps. I just order that and i'm good to go. Although, sometimes I think people are too lazy to peel off shrimps (i'mone if them hahaha) so I'm silently hoping that the customers can choose to have their shrimps already peeled? Hahaha

Finally got to try this place. I've been wanting to go since I was preggy in 2015, hahaha!Ordered:3 bags of shrimp: mardi gras, salty eggsperience, frenchy lemon pepper1 bag of mussels: marsi grasDeep fried baby squidSide order of friesI found it to be quite expensive based on its serving, but I'm sure good seafood is hard to come by here in the city. The mussels weren't that fresh either. But the sauces were pretty good. I'm not a fan of egg yolk, but the salty egg sauce wasn't half bad. The ground beef in the mardi gras was actually ulam enough hahaha! My favorite though was the lemon pepper.Service was decent. The staff was friendly. The place was clean - I really loved the scent of their hand soap hahahaha is that weird? But honestly, I don't think I'd come back. I expected this place to be a Cajun/Boiling Crab kind of restaurant, which was a tad disappointing. But, I guess for others this can be a must-try (kahit just once) mainly since this restaurant provides a unique experience (it IS quite different from the mainstream places we have now). Note: parking can be validated so you pay a lesser fee, but be sure to keep your receipt!
