it was the old Ling Nam restaurant, I use to wait here for the opening of shops at greenhills which United States 10am, lately I had a breakfast at the newly opened red panda it is so fresh and new but the old floor plan was the same, they got a wide range of menu from Chinese to American and steaks I've ordered my congee but is much better than king morning (am), a lot more elegant than long nam

Their cuisine is a mix of Chinese and American which might seem perplexing at first but after a while, it'll surprise you how they somehow succeed at delivering both. I've gone here three times, trying out the Chinese menu, then the American, then a mix of both. Their Chinese food is like any other good Chinese resto. The Red Panda rice is similar to Yang Chow, so it's a given that it tastes great. I also like the Prawns and Salt and Pepper Spareribs. What I want to rave about to is their Surf and Turf. You wouldn't expect a Chinese restaurant to have good steak but they do! For the price it's quite a steal because the meat is soft and seasoned right. Would go back here for the Chinese food and the steak which is probably a weird combination but somehow works

An interesting mix of modern and traditional Chinese recipes with a little twist. Red Panda serves all of the basic Chinese food but has a unique take on the presentation and flavor of the food they are serving. This place is also a wine bar and the drinks are good as well. Must-try's from this place include fried seafood noodles, sweet beef tenderloin, scallop and shrimp dimsum. The best part of my order was the red iced tea deserve which was probably one of the iced teas I have ever tasted! The service was really good and they would always attend to us and they made sure to make our dining experience worth it. This place is worth another visit.

Gohong soup is very saltyBreaded pork chop with sweet & sour sauce does not look like pork chop (when i got the bill, i noticed that the one they punched was their sweet & sour pork and not the breaded pork chop. Kaya pala. So nag-lie pa pala yung manager/supervisor nila about the dish when I asked what's the difference between their breaded pork chop with sweet & sour sauce and Red Panda sweet & sour pork. They could have just admitted na na-wrong punch sila) Siomai has lots of food coloringHacao does not have flavorXiao Long Bao - do not order. Expensive and tasteless. Salmon looks nice on picture, not on the actualCold cuts platter does not seem appetizingRed panda fried rice is okRadish Cake so-so

After movie dinner date with my mom. We were suppose to head home after the movie but then again, we didn't prepare anything to eat so we decided to dine out and take home the remaining food we ordered since we ordered too much for 2 pax. Lol.Ambiance was nice. Well ventilated and lit. The huge flatscreen was also a good distraction while waiting for the food to be served + their wine display was pretty neat. I also love how the place looks and feels vintage but at the same time quite modern. The staff were nice and accommodating. I just find the service a bit slow and the one who took our order seemed confused about the menu. Lol. He didn't seem to know what we were ordering which was a bit uh.. next time, I hope they'd memorize everything or take down some of the items.Lastly, the food. They have such wide selections of everything that makes it hard to look at the menu and read through everything. Consists of too much words and too little picture presentation which- if I were a person who's in a hurry or has limited time to dine out, I'd definitely change place. We ordered plenty and I found their dimdum plain. A bit pricey for the size. The Hakaw & Xiao Long Bao didn't seem to have anything special in it and the Xiao Long Bao and Hakaw didn't even taste like Xiao Long Bao or Hakaw. It didn't have the soup in it + the skin was TOOOO thick. Looks like a mini siopao, if you ask me while the Hakaw was dry. Man, I was so disappointed since these are some of my favorite dimsum choices.Mom had their Crispy Noodles with Seafood & Veggies and Fish Fillet Beancurd in Pot since she didn't want to have rice. The Fillet was bland. It was cooked right but bland while the noodles was okay.. atleast for me, but mom liked it otherwise. The rice was good. Rich and soft and pearly white which was really attractive. The Red Panda Osso Buco is a must try for me, I'd recommend it. The beef's tender and well-cooked, the sauce was just right and it has this savory taste that reminds me of fried Patatim or something. Really good! And for the final order of entreé, we had Brocolli & Caulli Gratin which was milky and cheesy. The cheese tasted good, unlike others who serve a rubbery-like cheese so, I was quite impressed with this. I am a fan of milk and cheese recipe but IMO, this dish isn't for everyone. For drinks, I had the Sunrise Smoothie which was a mixture of Banana and Kiwi with Honey and Soya Milk which was nice as a palate cleaner after all the diferent sauces. We didn't order any desserts since the menu wasn't attractive enough to shout "Try Me!" Lol.Overall, the experience was okay. The price was okay, quite afforfable since the entreé had enough serving so, I guess it was reasonable. But still, I hope they'd improve on their Dimsums and Service.
