I don't usually go to website and I've never made a review but since I've had /the/ worst lunch so far, here I am. Whenever I choose to eat at a Mexican restaurant, I always order quesadilla, and tacos/nachos. So when my boyfriend and I chose to eat at Kamicos a while ago, we ordered the platter with 3 tacos, 1 quesadilla, and 2 iced teas for 500 pesos. He gets the tacos and I get the quesadilla, we split the bill. I was expecting our food to look like the picture from the menu, but damn waS I DISAPPOINTED. Tacos are small, the shell looked like it has been stored for weeks now. And the quesadilla,,,,,,,, the queSADILLA looked so bad. Pita even smaller than what people use for regular sized shawarma, each slice fits my palm. NOT EVEN WARMED. Beef was soggy, cooks didn't even drain the excess water after it had been defrosted, making the pita soak in its water. SAD. Not sure if they now how to cook quesadilla since only the beef and cheese were inside while the tomatoes were,,,,, on top??? after folding it???? unless they actually,,, forgot the tomatoes??? Food was on a foil paper plate with folds. The staff probably thought it looked bad so they added like 4 nacho chips to make up for the horrible presentation LOLI've never been so disappointed with food, I can't believe I pitched in 250 for /that/. Could've just gotten siomai, or a burger, or milktea. Or all three. People were right when they said the reason Kamicos is still open was because of the nostalgia. Close or make your food better pLEASE :((( Food quality sucks, sana nag kwek kwek nalang ako sa tabi. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures to upload. Guess I was /too/ disappointed with the food served in front of me I didn't know how to react lmao. Sorry this turned out to be more of a rant rather than a review, had to let this out. Peace!

Been wanting to eat in here because from what I’ve heard their food is “tasty”. I was disappointed when I found out that you can’t even order a single meal from them! You have to order their packed meal which is soooo pricey! Everything in this restaurant is overpriced! Plus the girl (I think she’s the owner), is not even smiling! Not recommending this place!

First time to try this they dont have change for 1k so ndi ako pinagblhan. 2nd time im asking for the price wala sila menu for that. So i buy a burrito and quesadilla nasobrang mahal compare for mexicali or army navy. Ndi din masarap food nila. Not worth it. Humingi ako ng receipt yan lng nilagay nila wala mang lang nilagay na kung magkano ang burrito. Now i check the pricing burrito nila 229 tas quesadilla 199 pano umabot ng 539. Then ang sungit pa ng may ari. Not recommeded.

When I eat here it is always nostalgic of the old greenhills shopping centre.I like the homestyle tacos that is far from authentic but it is very homey.I just noticed that they dont have ala carte orders anymore and everything comes in bundles. My last merienda with my wife was 695 bucks.I found it a bit pricey because if you bring your 695 to other fastfood joints,it will give you far more than 6 small tacos.I will still come back though.

Their tacos is not even at par with the ones being sold in the streets. Overpriced, salty not tasty at all. the shell was made from fried lumpia wrapper! The nachos were horrible! No salsa no beef no cheese! No anything! The cheese dip doesnt even taste like cheese. This is fraud and deceit! I got scammed!

I just want to buy a bottle of water because I am dehydrated and while looking on their menu, I am actually contemplating on buying something to snack on, but they told me that they are not selling drinks since they only come with food, upon checking their menu they are in fact selling drinks which are not included with their meals! They intentionally didn't sell me a single bottle of water for no apparent reason.. I find it so unreasonable and stupid. They were so rude even last year when they served their food.. I am referring to the lady owner of this establishment and her son presumably, not their servers...

I was reminiscing the places i remembered from my childhood (visiting regina's & papemelroti, chocful o' nuts, le ching... to name a few) and i just had a craving for some nachos and bumped into this cafeteria in Shoppesville-----big mistake! the worst customer service ever encountered since i arrived in manila, and from snobby owners themselves ( so i gathered from all the negative reviews). Aside from the nasty old lady and young man manning the shop ( oh they are so good in making one feel unwelcome and can't even look you in the eye ). the food was nothing to write home about and highway robbery prices on small quantity that would leave you thinking --- not worth it! Never again! No wonder the place was deserted! There are 2 factors that would make a customer stay/come back---the service and the quality of food---it's a pity they both lack it.

Posted menu here is somewhat useless. The owner will only offer you set menu even though you are only 1 person. Yun lang daw available. Not sure why that is, but they refrain from selling ala carte food. Food is not cheap, quite pricey. You are better off going to army navy. Customer service is literally close to non-existent. No service with a smile.

To be honest, probably the only reason why this place is still alive is because of pure nostalgia.People who would like to reminisce their childhood in old school Greenhills prior to all the renovations, eating one of the "best tacos in town" with their families and friends. At first, I was a fan. I love their tacos. They remind me of my time as a kid, making homemade tacos with my uncle and cousins. Kamicos had that homemade, uncommercialized taste. The kind that reminds you of your mom making meals for you at home. However, these past few years, the quality deteriorated probably to keep up with the demand and inflation of prices. Plus, no more ala carte orders. To get people to pay more? You want a taste of nostalgia? Fork out 500 pesos for something that isn't even of good quality anymore. Free scowling faces and mumbling from the staff and business owner/s.For an established family business, a flourished brand, their customer service is ZERO. Try talking to the hands-on owner. Yes, the old lady and sometimes her husband would always be there. And probably an extra hired help or two. They aren't very pleasant to deal with. Mr Kamicos is probably of lesser evil than Mrs Kamicos. Seriously, one may get an impression that they are only in it for the money. No passion to serve, zero care to be thrown around. You can choke to death on their expensive set meals and they would probably just click their tongue at you for dying in the vicinity of their stall.A little smile or thank you would be nice for your loyal patrons, who have supported your business and resulted to another branch in Eastwood. If you want value for your money and a bite of homemade taco goodness, just please avoid Kamicos. You are better off with the 60-peso taco at the Vmall foodcourt or if you have money to spare, treat yourself to Army Navy instead. The meal would probably taste better without snotty business owners scowling down at you. Or better yet, head to Unimart, buy ground beef, taco shells, taco seasoning, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, and cheese and call your friends for a taco party at home. It's such a pity that it had to be like this. I am just waiting for their business to close, really. And when they do, I wouldn't even care.

The lady owner is very RUDE. No smile at all. She would even say that their “2 for 150php” tacos are nonexistent (TO MAKE YOU BUY THEIR MEAL BUNDLES) which are WAY WAY EXPENSIVE (500-600pesos per order). I don’t understand why people still eat here. Poor customer service, tacos are blah, serving size is SMALL, they trick you to buy the expensive group meals. So, NOPE. I will never recommend this to anyone.
