Stakes were not included in the website. Burgers were not available. Only one order of pasta was available. Based on what was available, we settled for baby back ribs, steak & prawn pasta (because truffle pasta was not available), and fish and chips. After taking our order, waitress comes back to tell us french fries are not available and that the baby back ribs and fish & chips will be served with rice instead of fries. Just disappointed since we were looking forward to trying this restaurant.

Hai Chix steaks look better than they taste. Might be a good splurge option for people on a budget but given the price x quality difference vs Mamou, I would just top up and go for the latter.

I was a bit dubious at first because the place is called “Hai Chix & Steaks”. Hainanese chicken place that serves good steak? What?Anyway, curiosity got to me and one Saturday evening my friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner in Greenhills. We had a bit of trouble locating this place. Customers also need to climb a flight of stairs with steep steps which looked a bit sketchy because it was a bit dark. But overall we’re happy with the food. What we ordered- Medium rare 330g ribeye steak with fries- Hainanese chicken with chicken riceThey got the steak’s doneness right and it was tender. It’s packed with flavor, but not over-seasoned. It lives up to its reputation. Hainanese chicken was good but comparable to other places which serve this too. We liked the chili though.Service- Okay. They charged us for bottomless iced tea when my friend just ordered a single serve. Minor thing and they corrected it immediately.Ambience & Cleanliness- Place had a chill vibe to it. Cleanliness was so-so. One part of the table was a little bit sticky, but that’s just my friend who was sensitive to those things. Will definitely be considering this place next time I’m craving for steak.

You have to take a flight of stairs in order to reach the restaurant. The ambience inside is really nice and the servers are very attentive. We ordered the salpicao, garlic squid, laksa, hainanese chicken and steak paella. The squid looked like its only good for one person, but the flavor was really good. The squid was very fresh and seasoned really well. The salpicao was not bad, its tender and seasoned perfectly. It's flavored the same as the squid. The steak paella was also good, steak was quite tender, though the paella didn't feel much like a paella.Hainanese chicken and rice was good, chicken was a bit small. But its one of the juciest and succulent hainanese chicken I've tasted. It goes really well with their rice too.The laksa however, was a total disappointment. It lacks flavor, the broth seems to be missing coconut milk. And the noodles use were thin and soft(overcooked). It is a total regret to have ordered this dish..While they have mostly good food, I feel that their dishes should be priced a bit lower, considering their serving sizes. Otherwise, this place is worth a visit.

Wanted to try their Laksa, but unfortunately, it wasn't available when we went here last Sunday. Instead we settled for the prawn bisque (which seemed small even though it says good for 2 on the menu).Aside from that, we tried the hainanese chicken dish and fish and chips. Pretty standard flavor, nothing fancy. We'll try the steaks next time!Use my ZG promo code if you want to save on your dining expenses when you eat with your friends! Code: BIRTHD

I love the food here at Hai Chix & Steaks however in the last 3 visits there’s always something missing or unavailable. For example, Haianese chicken, haianese fish but no vegetables or prawn bisque but no bread. There’s just always something up.

Their pasta was cooked well, though a bit salty. Their shrimps were cooked perfectly and the steak from the paella was smoky.

The meal that I ordered is actually fine, service is average. Has a very neat and quiet ambiance when we last visited there. I think it's a bit pricey though.
