My website college friends and I decided to roam around San Juan and pig out. We had a game plan ready. Sadly, a few of the stops on our list were closed as it was a Sunday. I was running late (thanks to the crazy Uber surge) and my friends were getting hungry. They then decided to go to a coffee shop nearby named Backyard Coffee.

Quiet ambiance, perfect for group study! Place quite small and simple interior. We ordered tapa which is good, their café latte its okay but nothing much but I would recommend that you try their pesto pasta with fish fillet ⭐️ it's deliciously creamy!!! 👍🏻

Strong coffee, really good. Deliiiicious ube cake: moist, fluffy, not too sweet, makes you wanna keep on eating. Internet connection can be wonky. But it's generally a quiet place, great for meetings and working. I had their tapa once, was pretty expensive at 250 or so. But it was really good -- a dry, robust tapa and very garlicky garlic rice because they gave the garlic enough time to brown, and fluffy and moist scrambled eggs. ☺ Have gone back. Will go back.

Food - 3.5Service - 4.0Ambiance - 3.5We went here to get brunch and chill a bit. Their ambiance lacks the cozy coffee shop feel but it's nice and quiet. They also have good WiFi connection. Food was okay - we ordered Spanish omelette and grilled cheese sandwich. They use a different kind of bread which I liked.
