This is the ideal branch if you want to get a quick fix for your Japanese curry cravings. Literally this is located inside the car park building and you can be in the restaurant seat from your car seat in a minute or less. We ordered Fried chicken curry, Eggplant and spinach curry rice gratin and their famous Pork cutlet omelet curry. Among the three I liked most the Fried chicken curry. The chicken pieces were crunchy outside but juicy and salty inside. It reminded me of karaage but this one is smothered in curry sauce. The pork cutlet selling point is the omelet rice. It was creamy and thick a perfect contrast against the crunchy lightly breaded pork meat. The gratin was not a disappointment also. The melted cheese on top covered the entire rice serving and was very flavorful. Giving this visit a nice 5 rating!

I tried their tonkatsu omurice curry with potatoes and carrots! Love everything about it! But I was not able to finish everything because it was too heavy for me. 😅

so sad all my favourites are gone! pasta dishes, sausages and their only curry-free dish, beef with onions...service is almost always, impeccable!

Always bundat after every Coco Ichibanya visit. This time I tried the Level 2 spice and I think it’s just right for me 🤤

This is an excellent place for people who loves Japanese curry. I admire a restaurant where you can adjust the level of spicyness that you want. Here at Coco Ichibanya, you can also choose the amount of rice that you want, add extra sides. You can also order the Naan bread if you don’t feel like eating rice. The curry here was pretty good, not too strong. I added cheese on my Sausage Curry to balance the curry flavor. Their Japanese rice was really fragrant and well-cooked. However, the sides were tad bit pricey. The sides can cost around P40 with a very minimal amount. But it was really fun to look at their menu because there were a lot to choose from. Overall, I enjoyed the the giant portions, the quality of their rice, I liked the generous amount of the curry that you do not need to order extra sauce, the sausage was really tasty and juicy. The service was good too. 🤗

I love it! The taste is consistent, same as the ones I’ve tried in Japan which makes me feel that eating curry from here is just a mall away. We’ve been at this branch for a couple of times now and the staff has always been nice. I always go for the pork cutlet and vegetable curry. The dish is quite heavy on the stomach, the curry is thick and flavorful. The cutlet has just the right amount of tenderness and crunch. 👍🏻👍🏻

First time at a CoCo Curry House but I’ve heard that it’s good since it’s a favorite of some friends and relatives and now I know why! It really is good, satisfying/ filling and reasonably priced. The pork is tender and juicy inside with a crunchy fried coating. The rice is not dry. The curry is delicious and you can adjust (i.e. make it spicier) the spiciness level even more by adding the Hot Spicy powder. You can also choose how much rice you want (less or more). The extra topping of sausages that we ordered were good too, small but good. This branch has ample seating and very well airconditioned. It was so hot outside so when we entered, the cool atmosphere was a great welcome to customers. The server also gave us iced water immediately upon arrival which we appreciated.

I recently gave Coco Ichibanya-Rockwell a perfect score. When I craved for the same food in GH area, I wasn't entirely disappointed, but I felt quite sad that quality isn't the same in their two branches.I got the pork cutlet omelet with curry spice level 4. When the dish was served, I knew something was different. The egg omelet which was supposed to be creamy and fluffy was a little bit over. The pork meat was a little bit way too fatty compared to the ones they serve in Rockwell. Also, the spice level 4 did not give any spicy kick at all. Normally, I would at least perspire a bit or feel the spiciness on my tongue.I am not saying it was a bad experience. I'm still giving it a 4.0, it was still a great dish. It's just that, compared to their Rockwell branch, it is not as great.

Ordered pork omelet curry with spicyness at level 1. It has just the right amount of kick to it without the spicyness overtaking the flavor giving a good balance to the overall taste. Icecream and coffee jelly were good, a good end to a good meal. A relatively comparable japanese curry meal. Staff were accomodating and alert.Overall I really enjoyed my first experience. Will definitely go back!

Let's curry our life with curry!I ordered the naan curry and standard size of vegetable curry. I felt like I only ate carbs and starch, since the vegetable curry had a lot of potatoes. The naan curry was a bit bare with plain curry, fries and naan bread. The fries were thick and crispy, the bread was soft, with some parts a bit stiff. The curry tasted good with everything and their pickled red ginger or benishoga took the dishes to another level.I liked that you can choose the level of spice, the amount of rice (yay for less food waste), and the toppings. I tried natto for the first time and it was actually not bad, though my sisters didnt like it. Slimey and fragrant, at least for me. I only tried level one spice and realized that I'm not a spicy person. Nose was getting watery from it.I love the interior with spice books and spices displayed around. I like their selection of vegetable dishes too. Order was not that fast, but everything was good.
