It was early last year when I discovered this place (thanks website). Since then, I became a regular customer and I make sure that I'll drop by at least once a week to either eat or just drink coffee. I love everything at CO/OP, from accommodating staff, very relaxing ambiance, huge parking space, and the food. I can also say that I've already tried almost all the food that they do offer except for desserts as I'm no sweet tooth. Overall, I'll give 5🌟 for this place. (11.04.17)I’ve been always wanting to try out this really attractive place in San Juan ever since I saw it. From the outside, the restaurant looks very contemporary and zen. It almost looks like a house! I figured it’s perfect for breakfast and lunch dates since the ambiance is much more homey than romantic. But based on my experience, this place is beautiful enough for any occasion. Hehe! PARKING (5/5)Parking was easy! They have a very spacious open area in front which can cater a lot of cars! I’ve never seen this place full of parked cars before so I’m thinking access here will be stress-free anytime of the day. They also have a guard who will accommodate and help you park.AMBIANCE (5/5)I’ll be frank, what truly attracted me to try this restaurant was its appearance. Haha! I brought my girlfriend here just so that we can have quality time while we enjoy the ambiance of his place. And we were not disappointed! The interiors were perfectly placed, the furnitures were fit for the venue, and the environment was homey and cold. I also loved the fact that they have a mini store inside selling all these hipster and unique finds that the owner of the store found interesting from his/her travels. They were all attractive but pricey. Haha! They have tables and chairs inside the resto and outside. But of course, me and my girl opted to seat in the sofa where we could sit together. Hehe!FOOD (4/5)I saw from pictures (thanks to website!) and read from the reviews that they have big servings hence we only ordered 2 meal, the Caesar Salad (P310) and the BBQ Pork Ribs (P495). I have to say, they all got it right because we almost weren’t able to finish everything! I’d say all their dishes are good for 2-3 persons. Serving time wasn’t that bad too since we didn’t get tired of waiting. We loved both our orders because they were both tasty and delicious! The Caesar salad bacon on it!!! I actually did y expect to enjoy the salad but man it was good! It had a lot of toppings and the generous amount of dressing! Indeed very tasty! 😋 The BBQ Pork Ribs was also a winner because not only was it huge but also flavorful! I liked the BBQ sauce and the texture of the meat! Didn’t have a hard time cutting through with it because it was soft just the way I liked it! They only have limited food in their menu but everything sounds so promising!SERVICE (5/5)Just upon entering the place, we were already greeted with welcomes and smiles from the waiters. They were all very entertaining and friendly. They answered all my questions especially from their mini store and they willingly took pictures of us. Haha! They were able to give good recommendations on what to order which shows that they have good knowledge of what they cater and that they are very attentive. No problems here! THE VERDICT (4.5/5)I don’t know why I can’t give a 4.5 rating anymore but if I was able to, that’s the score I’d give this restaurant. We had a lovely time here and I’m looking forward to coming back to try out their other dishes! I’m also curious as to how this place looks like in the evening. Hehe! But I’m also equally interested in trying out their coffees and desserts! Hmmmm! Something to look forward to I guess! Hehe! Cheers! 😊

We came here this morning and although we were confused by whether it was table service or not. They didn’t have flavour coffee (caramel, vanilla etc) so we ordered standard lattes with fine brown sugar and they were really yummy. We ordered the breakfast of champions and the salmon rosti eggs Benedict which were both cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Were presented nicely and the restaurant was great

Another example of style over substance! Co/op is a chic looking lifestyle place tucked away in San Juan that combines a boutique with a cafe. While the whole concept is innovative and creative, here’s why I was unimpressed :Food - mediocre taste at best and presentation not very appealing. Service - while pleasant, service was very slow considering that the restaurant was nearly empty at 7 pm on a Thursday night. One entree that we ordered (the pricey yet scant tenderloin steak) took 45 minutes to be served and we had to follow them up 3 times.I ordered their craft beer (the best discovery of the evening) and was not told that the bottles were not cold so I was surprised when the beer came to the table half poured over a lot of ice! Who drinks beer with ice?!Value for money - the food is pricey and not at all worth the cost. The aforementioned steak costs almost P500 for a few slices, but is served with so much rice and fried onion rings that could fool you into thinking the serving sizes are big. Saving grace - huge empty parking lot and great friends that made the evening a lot of fun.

I have high expectation with this Cafe by its looks, ambiance and location. No problem with parking. Ambiance is really good. However food is not that so good. I ordered Smoked Salmon rosti with egg benedict. The food looks great thou but tastes not really that good. Palate not satisfied that much. Latte is well done anyway and tasteful.

A different restaurant experience since you get to check out merchandise on display while waiting for your food.Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin was good and serving was generous. The beef was indeed tender but the overall flavor was just okay.Swedish Meatballs- the name gave me the impression that this was Ikea’s boxed meal. I wouldn’t really know since I haven’t tasted the later. The meatball was okay. I liked the silky mashed potato that came with it. It came with a serving of what looked like bagoong but was actually some kind if marmalade..? It did go well with the dish.Beautiful ambiance and ample parking. On a quiet afternoon, this would be a great place for meetings or getting work done since they do have coffee.

Co/op's a cute place - definitely one where you can work or set a meeting in! I think they change their menu every now and then or have seasonal offerings. I liked their cranberry chicken sandwiches the most which were served with sweet potato fries. It was just the right balance of sweet and salty! Also liked their tinapa pasta and tomato soup - this would've gone perfectly with a grilled cheese sandwich! Hope they can pair it with one next time or maybe offer a cheese garlic toast to go with it? Will definitely come back!

Can’t get over the way this place looks. It reminds me of a greenhouse with the large glass panels that let in warm sunlight. A lovely interior that is both rustic and modern will greet you the moment you enter the restaurant. And don’t forget the little section full of knickknacks and trinkets that you can buy! Now let’s focus on the food:🐟 Garlicky Blue Marlin: pan-seared fish with a garlic sauce, tomatoes, and garlic rice on the side. Meat was tender and there were generous portions of garlic in the rice, which I really liked.🐔 CO/OP Roasted Chicken: Roasted chicken served with green beans, carrots atop a brown rice pilaf. Looked and smelled great! Plus it’s a healthy alternative for those who are health conscious. 🍄 Tartufo Pasta: Fettucine with cream sauce, porciutto ham, Truffle oil and mushrooms. My selection. Loved the strong truffle flavors and the salty ham, which added flavor to the pasta dish.🐠 Smoked Salmon Pasta: Fettucine with capers, asparagus, smoked salmon and a Tomato-based sauce. I love their generous portions of smoked salmon here. Plus, the smoky taste is strong here, texture is chewy but the fish still holds its form, so it’s a good kind of salmon that I like.
