If you are in La Union whether craving for Japanese or not, you need to try out this diner! Their sashimi will be incredible. We'd salmon, mackerel and squid. It tasted so genuine and new! Definitely deserves another journey!

We was with my children in the fantastic Northwest at night of January 2, 2020 (approximately 1900 hrs). We positioned orders at Chu’s Diner: Katsudon, Katsu Curry, Tendon, and 3 various kinds of sashimi. While we had been waiting around in a bar over the restaurant, several Japanese arrived. I'd estimate they had been at the very least three orders after us. A guy arrived to greet them, who we discovered later has been Mr. Chu. Our initial three orders emerged within 15-20 mins of our arrival. Amazingly the sashimi was past due in arriving. Kay, who was the lady taking orders, arrived and described that there is a delay inside our sashimi purchase because there were just two chefs planning the meals. But we said we'd wait. However, to be sure our order will be looked after, I went in the eating place where I saw among the chefs (an elderly Japanese) preparing sashimi. However when he was finished with the purchase, Kay passed out the dish to japan group. That has been when I exploded in anger. I questioned why japan group had been served before us whenever we arrived much previous. I actually pointed our previously orders to Mr. Chu. Kay grew to become teary eyed and mentioned it had been her fault. But Mr. Chu provided no apologies. This is the 1st time I had been discriminated against in my country. Shame you Mr. Chu!!!
