Had our Valentine's Dinner here, and everything we ordered was just terrific! Of course, it's a bit pricey, but I've yet to see a French restaurant that is affordable (if you do, please please enlighten me). This is what we ordered: Tuna Tartare - Ordered this as an appetizer. The tuna was generous and the salad that came along with it had such bright flavors. I loved the colorful presentation, as well.Le Coq Au Vin - The server (or manager?) recommended this to me, since I wanted to try something really French. This is chicken braised in wine, with creamy pasta. True enough, I've never tasted anything like this before. It was so good, I didn't want to share this with my date hehehe (but of course, I had to 😞). The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the light pasta complimented the main dish very well.Paillard de Boeuf - Since my date preferred his steak either medium well or well done (I like mine medium rare), the server recommended for him to get this dish. The Paillard de Boef is flattened US Beef with fries and a salad. It was tender despite being well done, so I liked this too. The serving size was good enough, and the sides were good, too.L'Original Kouign Amann - we're not too fond of desserts (we can skip it to leave more room for savory dishes hehehe), but I've heard so much about Brasserie Cicou's Kouign Amann, that we just had to try it. Yes, it was good! The pastry was crunchy and warm, perfect with the salted caramel ice cream paired with it. I just wish they were more generous with the ice cream.😕The servers were friendly enough, so don't be shy if you can't pronounce the items on their menu.😉 The restaurant is beautiful, with colorful paintings on the wall. All in all, we had a great dinner at Brasserie Cicou. I just wish it was more affordable so I could eat there more often.

French cuisine is intimidating but this restaurant's homey feel makes you feel comfortable. Everyone is raving about their bread and rightly so since it is so good. The fish was also cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning for me. First time to try the kouign amann and instantly fell in love with this famous french dessert.

Very nice place. Didn't get to taste the foods because I'm just looking for a place for my 18th birthday. My concern is that the place is too small...

I love the tapas of Cicou more than their main courses, but their mains were just as nice as the appetizers they serve. We also had the oyster shooters and we loved the experience. Price was worth the taste!

The ambiance is great, I loved the whole rustic theme going on. Everything was just warm and welcoming. Service is also superb, I liked how all the waiters and waitresses were very attentive and helpful when ordering. The manager was also great in engaging us and asking us about our experience. We ordered the recommended dishes: Les Escargots a la Francaise (snails), Le Boeuf Bourguignon (braised beef), Cheese Ravioli, and the mu8ch celebrated L'Original Kouign Amann de Cicou. The escargot was a very good starter, the perfect mix of herbs, and buttery goodness, the tiny little snail just swims in all that sauce. I've never tried snail cooked this way, so I was really happy. The braised beef was also good, tender and juicy, the meat just falls off and goes well with the pasta. The ravioli disappointed me the most, for the price, I was expecting something more than the usual. As for the dessert, it was the bomb. I was sent to salted caramel heaven!!! I love love love pastries, especially those done with puff pastry. This was just made me really happy after.I would definitely come back and try their other dishes, although it isn't really as affordable as the usual casual dining fare. The overall experience is already worth a second visit.
