went there once and will never go back. food is mediochre and the service leaves much to be desired. that's all i can say about this place and these next few words are merely incompliance to the website's minimum character requirement for a review.

It was 4 years ago when me and my family first tried the cuisine in this restaurant out of sheer curiosity and the fact I wanted to eat something I've never eaten before to celebrate my anniversary. From then on, I was in love with the food, especially with the only dish I favor every time I visit, ROTI BREAD 🍞. Their curry dishes are highly recommended too because they have the right amount of spice and heat. The servers are always attending to what I need like hot water and an extra plate since I don't prefer eating on a leaf. All in all, if you are hungry and you just happened to be at Promenade, Greenhills, there's no better place to eat good Asian food than here. 🍵

Love the food and place. Cuisine is superb worth going back to try the other delicious dishes. Staff very friendly and service is great.Will definitely go back with family and friends.

My love for peranakan cuisine is beyond question. Sadly no place in the Philippines can ever properly quench that thirst. One place that does come close to it is Banana Leaf. Although their endless variations confuse me, the Asian Cafe has my favourite dishes. Come here for the Tilapia in cream sauce, the laksa, and the Portuguese vegetables (which might have been discontinued). Place could use upgraded AC facilities tho

After 15 minutes, they asked me if I would rather have the egg in my nasi lemak fried instead of boiled (someone had apparently forgotten to boil an egg). I said no. Still in a good mood.Someone also seemed to have forgotten to salt the chicken. Dry and tasteless, even as I drowned it first in sambal, then in curry sauce. Good mood still.Despite the lunch “promo”, they billed the regular price - and when I pointed it out, they said there was no “code” yet for the dish on the register. Rectified after I commented that this is illegal. Getting pissed here.Edit: Paid the bill, and after several minutes, was told that their credit card terminal was not working. Normally, it wouldn’t have been a big deal, but this was a little too much. So I docked off one more star. I never post bad reviews, but grrrrWhat happened, Banana Leaf? Used to like this restaurant. Not coming back any time soon.

Welp... this was sad.The food was great which is where the 2 comes from. Everything else was disappointing.AMBIANCE (0)Dirty.. looked like our place mats were used. Goodness. So of course we had it changed. But The ambiance was different from others... Flies!Food (2)Ordered Curry , rice , Roti and Samosa They were all good except the samosa.Another problem I had was the rice. There was hair in it... Or eyebrow.. It doesn't matter. They were all equally disappointing. This leads me to the next topicSERVICE (0)1. RICEI td the waiter about the rice and he just said that he'll change it.. He'll JUST change. Is it so hard to say sorry for the issue?! Goodness!2. Was raising my hand for a while and they were just standing there.. is it because Im a kid or because you dont wanna do your job.. i really wanna know..Conclusion Food was great. Food is actually good except for the ambience and hygeine.First, I had to ask them to change my mat because it was already used and greasy. Second, rice was given with free hair.Third, there were flies everywhere.We had veggie samosa, thai curry and rotti w condensed milk.

Just heaven! My favorite asian restaurant! What we had are the followingNasi GorengMee GorengMalayan Chicken Curry with PotatoesAnd my FAVORITE, Beef Rendang! I've always love rendang since I had this dish during my vacation trip in Malaysia. Very comparable but still at least I can have this dish without travelling back to Malaysia! Ha ha!And oh I almost forgot, we also had this sticky rice with Mango. Tastes nice! Best way to end our sumptuous meal!

I really liked the Tilapia in Malayan Cream Sauce in other Banana Leaf branches, but I did not enjoy it here. I think they served it with sauce to thick that it's difficult to spread it on the side rice.Good thing the roti canai in condensed milk sauce can never go wrong. It is my kid's favorite.

We arrived at the restaurant around 915pm which was near closing time. Our server was not attentive but rather paying more attention to her watch. I'm assuming she was ready to go home which is fine but at least be more hospitable when serving paying guests. The manager was also not of any help as he just stood there doing nothing.Overall the food was not bad. The roti was a bit tough and not flaky, the mango chicken salad was very dull. Everything else from the pad Thai, pandas chicken and singapore clams were acceptable and a nice size portion.
