Finally tried the website Online Delivery app and we tried it on Balkan Express. We have heard of this Yugoslavian resto from friends but never had the time to visit it. Good thing they have deliveries now.The online delivery app is so easy to use, and I thought it was complicated. It's like ordering from a real restaurant at the comfort of wherever you are. The ordering system was pretty neat. You will a SMS confirmation when you order, you will also get updates from the app, so you will know when the order gets accepted, picked up, en route, and arrived. What's best about my experience is that I received my orders 30 minutes ahead of time. It was a good thing because I was famished! As for the food, I am curious as to what Yugoslavian food tastes like. I had the Chicken Balta, while my wife tried the Goulash. Goulash is like our version of beef stew but with pasta. The stew is rich in beefy goodness and has a warm feeling to your heart. Lacked a little salt though. It is served with a kind of sourdough bread but it smelled and tasted like stale bread that is made with too much yeast. It is filling though, but we could not stand the smell. My chicken was boneless and topped with melted mozzarella cheese. Well- seasoned and tender. I enjoyed it.Had fun and enjoyed this experience. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon.

I've eaten here twice and why I even dared to go back escapes me. The first time was because of an online deal a year back and plain curiosity. Balkan cuisine is after all very different and unusual in the Philippines. Their menu is mostly meat-based with cheese. Hamburgers patties sandwiched with cheese in different ways (with rice, on bread, etc. ) sorry but I'm not fond of burgers and cheese. Price-wise, dishes range around P350-400, not worth it considering the ambiance.Parking is also limited this place.

New experience. Who would have thought that there is a restaurant with not much people or cars to be seen serves good food? I loved how the food was so cheesy and unique Slovakian taste.
