When dining out, I usually come prepared, having read up on the restaurant menu at website so that I could choose what I like in accordance to my budget. When a parking slot suddenly opened at Il Terrazo, we decided to eat there instead of at the restaurant across the street. We decided on Yoogane because we haven't eaten Korean cuisine in a while. Plus, the all glass facade allowed us to view the inside of the restaurant which was very inviting with its cheerful colors and extensive exhaust system. Being clueless about Yoogane was not a problem as the one who attended to us eagerly walked us through the menu.First to be served were appetizers. I didn't expect these and was happy they were on the house. These included boiled baby potatoes, kimchi, shredded cabbage with dressing, pickled radish and crunchy dilis. The dilis was my favorite. They even gave us refills of the ones we loved the most.Next to be served was the Marinated Chicken Galbi and Sliced Pork Belly. The meat came with vegetables and was cooked in the stove in the center of our table by the able wait staff. Steamed rice was added towards the end and upon the recommendation of the waitress, half was mixed with mozzarella cheese. They cautioned us that the dish might be spicy. I have a low tolerance for spice but I loved it as the spiciness was just right. I think the mozzarella cheese tamed the spice a bit.We also had the Bulgogi which was very good. The beef was thinly sliced, tender and very flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised at the end of the meal when they gave all of us Yakult for free.Pleased as I was with the quality of the cooking, what made me even happier was our bill. Our meal plus drinks for four only amounted to roughly PHP250 per person. The free appetizers alone was definitely a big plus. The service was also excellent. We were assisted all the way, from choosing our orders to request for seconds, utensils, etc. I meant it when I told the staff we'd be back. Yoogane has to be shared. I'm sure the people we'd take there would be similarly wowed.

I always crave for Korean food since I visited south Korea, and i was happy to see that they had open a branch here in the Philippines. ordered their famous Marinated chicken galbi and added extra rice cakes and mozzarella cheese and I could really say the it feels like I'm on my vacation during our tour in Korea. well the different part only is there is no snow here in the Philippines :D hehehe, but overall I love my dinning experience.

As we enter Yoogane, we noticed the colorful cartoon drawings painted on the brick walls with several portraits framed and hanged on it. It gave a vibrant and happy atmosphere for all diners. We were initially served with classic appetizers like kimchi, radish and shredded cabbage in tangy dressing.Their best-seller is the marinated chicken galbi which you could mix and match with other ingredients. Some like it as is while others order it with noodles or rice and mozzarella cheese. The server would be the one to cook the marinated chicken galbi in front of you until it's completely done. There's an exhaust fan above the iron grill to keep the smoke off the area but it didn't quite help in preventing the smell from getting into our clothes.Yoogane's Marintaed Chicken Galbi is basically chunks of chicken fillet marinated in Korean red chili paste. It was mixed with cabbage, leeks, Korean rice cakes (Dokboki), and a slice of sweet potato. This dish was indeed spicy. So for all spicy lovers out there, ordering this is a must. How I wish we had ordered the one with fried rice or noodles and an add on of mozzarella cheese (P80) to balance out its spiciness. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our marinated Dak Galbi. For non spicy lovers, their Beef Bulgogi is a highly recommended dish. The Beef Bulgogi was sweet and savory mixed with leeks and onions. Visible amount of fats are included with the beef to make this dish even more flavorful and juicy. After finishing up everything that we've ordered, complimentary bottles of Yakult were given as a sweet refreshment. What a great meal ender! :)

Ordered the Marinated Chicken Galbi and Sliced Pork Belly, plus assorted add ons. Warning: Spiciness is not for the faint of heart! But since I love spicy food, I really liked it. Ambience is casual. Servers are efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. And they give you refillable sidings and free Yakult!
