We ate lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, yang chow and hakaw. The place is old and crowded and the service is not that good. The food took time before it came out of the kitchen but it was worth the wait because everything tasted really good except for the hakaw. It tasted like it has been reheated for days. The buffet price is very affordable tho they only offer Maki and Filipino foods with very few choices. All of the people are waiting for the food to come out as the chaffing dishes are almost empty the whole time. Also, their birthday song played all over the place is very loud. Every time it will be played, you will stop talking and would just stare at the celebrant's table and wait until the song finishes. :(

I only tried their dimsum here especially the hakaw, sharksfin dumplings, japanese siomai, mantao and the machang. All mine!!! Haha. I ate all of these cause I'm so hungry. The ambience was good. Thank you kay kuya staff na sobrang alert at bait. 😃Wasn't able to get his name.

Quezon City is brimming with buffet restaurants and some restaurants even convert to buffet to go along with the trend. Yam Cha is quite known, for years, in Quezon City for its fresh seafood offering as well as exotic food such as alligators. You’ll even find the aquariums by the entrance. Before, they didn’t offer buffet and their menu was quite expensive. I remember eating ay Yam Cha back in 2002/2003 and my P100 didn’t cut it. However, the price is justified, at least from our experience. The food was very tasteful and really exemplifies Chinese cuisine. But in the most recent years, apart from their menu, they started offer lunch and dinner buffet.

The advertised price for their dinner buffet was php 388, but we were billed php 498 per person. When we inquired about, it the senior waitress said that since it is Mother's Day today, there were some special dishes added to the buffet table. If it's true or not, it is besides the point. They should notify the diner before hand so that there will be no confusion. What if a diner has just only the budget for what he is expecting? We were even billed for wet towels that never came. Caveat emptor!
