(4.5/5) Katsu Sora has been blunting my fondness for Katsu, but I'm glad I made a recent trip to Yabu to remind how good Katsu should be. They did away with the fancy salad stations and DIY miso soups and went to serve instead quality sets, along with quality service.Got the 120G Hire Katsu Set (PHP390+) and it was enough for me to feel satisfied. The dish was cooked to perfection. The breading was not at all abrasive. And the salad dressing, OH MY GOD THAT WAS UTTER PERFECTION.I am so in love with Yabu, and I cannot wait to be back.

I went here with my bestfriend after our NMAT review. The food is really goos, i love it. The waiting time is the only thing that can keep you away from eating here since there are lots of people wanting to dine in. But nonetheless, so glad i tried it and i cant stop!

@yabu is a very nice restaurant for delicious pork katsu. I’ve been to a few Yabu chains already and my latest meal at UP Town Center was fairly good as well. This time I ordered Gyudon Set which is USDA grilled beef in a honey soy sauce, sautéed onions, topped with a poached egg served on a bed of rice. The beef gyudon was very tender. I had to wait for my food in the clay bowl to cool down a bit but I reminded me of the Korean version of bimbimbap. It was a very hearty meal served with unlimited miso soup and salad. I recommend this restaurant to anyone.Service: very goodInterior design: ok

I love everything about Yabu especially their Gyudon Set! Staff was great, very attentive to our needs and everyone looked so happy with what they do. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. :)

My friends and I tried eating here and I must say that even though it is a bit pricey it was worth it! The cabbage salad dressing is a winner and I also love the katsu sauce it definitely enhances the flavor of the katsu and the miso soup is just perfection!!! The staff are also attentive, you won't evwn need to call their attention for refills because they are ready

Had a nice catch-up with co-leagues from before,Ordered the Ebi Katsu for a change and it was not that top notch but definitely good can be better,Though the mozarella sticks was pretty top notch, don't forget to sprinkle some salt on it to achieve full flavor,Service attentiveness can be improved, but overall good experience.

Yabu is the best go-to katsu place for me.. i cannot say no to Rosu and Hire set and most of all to the Mouthwatering Tiger prawns! They’re all the best with their potato salad and coleslaw! 😍 visit any Yabu stores near you for the KatsuCraze you’ve been wanting anytime of the day! ⭐️

The service is great and the food is pricey but somehow worth it. The space was cramped and small which made the ambience uncomfortable.I usually order the deluxe seafood mixed with bottomless house blend iced tea.
