I love this place but the service was slow.  We just ordered Iced Tea and Nachos and this took about half an hour.   The Nacho was just ok. Nothing special.  They're not very generous with the toppings though.  I remember seeing few pieces of beef bits.  Their Frozen Iced Tea was a hit though.  I'll be back to try other dishes.  I hope they will improve with their service.

I love how quirky this place is. The staff are very accommodating, also the owners! The cakes we had were moist and good and the coffee was okay as well. The service was a bit slow, but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff definitely make up for it.

It was a Throwback Thursday indeed as I chanced upon this quaint little cafe along the trending Maginhawa Street in QC. A curious collection of old stuff (not exactly antique as these items were clearly from the 50s to the 70s) immediately launched me somewhere between dream and remembrance. The sitting area looked like what was once a patio had an eclectic collection of batibot chairs and slabs of hard wood for stools and benches. Oh yes, the coffee (Kalinga-Batangas blend I think it was) was syrupy, earthy and excellent when paired with a red velvet cake) was great. So there I was sipping my coffee until the music started to play, "I don't want to lose you, I love you as you are..."

When Uan Met Sally looks like just an artsy boutique from the outside but they are also a cafe. The space is small, with just 5 tables but the small space is filled with Instagram-worthy things. The food:We ordered pesto and shrimps pasta, Monte Carlo (or Cristo, I'm not so sure which C was it) sandwich, their house blend frozen tea, and taro ice cream. The pesto is good. Nothing special though. The sandwich is okay, a ham and cheese sandwich with jam. The house blend frozen tea is really good because I like that it has bits of green mango for added flavor. And last but definitely not least, the reason I'd go back to WUMS - the taro ice cream. It was really good. It is a must try if you are craving for ice cream while you are in the area. For that ice cream alone I'd give WUMS a 4.0 rating. The price:We spent about Php700 for the food that we ordered. Not inexpensive, but not too expensive. If you still have a few bucks to spare, they have cakes. The ambience:It was a quiet place, until a group of diners entered and started being noisy. Good thing we were about to leave already. Given how small the space was, conversations can be overheard so talking a bit louder than normal would really make you some sort of nuisance to other diners.P.S. WUMS is also a boutique. They sell handmade bags, clothes, accessories and other stuff. If you go there with a girlfriend or a wife, be prepared for the possibility of going home with a purchase.

Wums! Can't go wrong choosing this food place. Although quite pricey if compared to the other places in the area, still the ambience and the taste of food is makes up for it. :D

I love the interiors and ambiance of When Uan Met Sally ❤️ it is very very quiet and private (when we went there). The food is really good. I loved the pesto pasta!!! Also, one good thing about this resto is, it also has like a store where you can buy random cute vintage stuff!

After a long walk along maginhawa, We spotted this shabby chic resto-boutique. Place was charming and cozy. We ordered pesto with shrimps and roast beef along with their refreshing house blend frozen tea. The gravy of the roast beef was a bit salty but it tasted good. Price range was affordable and not too expensive 😊 and oh! Just to add, I read from a blog that sally was the one who's making all the lovely crafts that they sell. How cool is that?!

The ambiance is no doubt impressive. I like the indoor garden feel. The food, however, is very mediocre. We ordered the french onion soup which tastes like rosemary boiled in water; the four cheese panini was okay but could be better; their house iced tea is just regular iced tea blended with lots of ice which became more of a tea slush (the presentation was good); and, lastly, their turon with chocolate-raspberry dip, which is the only thing on their menu I enjoyed is yummy. Would I go back here? For the ambiance, yes. I'd only order turon and coffee or tea.

Taro ice cream in wum's cafe is superb. You will definitely go back for it. They have a nice garden themed cafe. A small space but still cute

More than just a restaurant, When Uan Met Sally also functions as a boutique. They sell bags, clothes, accessories, and a whole lot more. This is a great restaurant to bring your dates to. Their Vodka Spaghetti is a must try.
