Wingman's theme is very prominent, with the American-related references 🇺🇸, color themes, and the numerous TVs switched to local and foreign basketball channels 🏀. Their wings are average-sized. The buffalo flavor has choices for the level of spiciness. Choosing the medium level, it was bearable, considering that there was dipping sauce. Probably, without the dipping sauce, it might be unbearable. The Hickory Barbecue was sweet, with a hint of tang. It was great to nibble on, as it was a simple recipe, tasting just like your regular chicken barbecue. Their Garlic Parmesan was average. The wings did not /boom/ 💥  of the flavor of the parmesan cheese with the hint of garlic per bite, as one may expect. In its appearance, alone, it is easy to say that the wings may need a little more of flavor in the outside. Their rice 🍚  was inconsistent. The first serving went great with the wings, as it was a little wet, with a few greens between the rice. The second serving was super dry, and was simply topped with some greens, and barely any found within. They also serve a variety of beers 🍻  and cocktails🍸 that may be worth trying in the near future. They have a beer pong table in the middle of the room, as well. The service is commendable 💯 ; two waitresses 👯  would approach us everytime we needed anything. Good job to them. 😊Overall, Wingman is a restaurant worth recommending and worth going back to to try out their other flavors, as there are many to choose from. 👌

During our dinner break at work, we have decided to eat at Wingman UP Town. On the way there, we have received a notification from work that there is an issue that we need to prioritize immediately. So we have entered the restaurant with our laptops and started working there. The servers entertained us and got our orders. After a few minutes, they have informed us that there will be a game night and we are invited to join. Although some of us were busy working, my other colleagues decided to join the game since it sounded fun. Then the game started. After the first round of the game, the scores came in and our team got a perfect score. Everything seemed well until the second round. A server approached one of my teammates that is working and asked him to put down his laptop. He did what the girl said just to avoid any more issues. Then after a few minutes the girl approached me and did the same. I told her I cannot put it down since I am doing my work there which was way more important than their game. She said it was the game's policy. Then we have decided to not join the game anymore since we need to prioritize our work. She went away then I continued doing my work. Then the guy hosting the game approached me and again asked me to put down my laptop. I EXPLAINED myself AGAIN but he said that the reason why they are asking us to put away our laptops is that they saw us using google to search for the answers to the questions from the game. I was not really paying attention to the game and was focusing on my work so I got REALLY offended for they are accusing us of things that we are not doing! Do they even have a proof? And would they think that I would pay more attention to their stupid game rather than my tasks at work??? We are not even playing anymore! And still they have confronted us! It would really be okay if they told us nicely that we cannot use our laptops while they are having their game night, then we would've chosen a different place to eat. And also, there are other people in the restaurant that are using laptops, but we are the only group that they have confronted. Although the food was great and the service was nice at first, we have lost our appetite and have had a very bad experience for the night. We are really not happy with what happened, definitely not going back, definitely not gonna recommend this restaurant to my friends. To those Wingman Staff that confronted us, thank you for ruining our night and good luck with your future game nights!

Wrote a review about this restaurant since we had a bad experience with their staff.Erik, the owner, contacted us just to defend his staff, without even listening to our side of the story, unlike other restaurant owners I know, who are very kind and humble. He just gave us more reasons not to come back at his restaurant.
