Do not make the mistake of dining here. Worst restaurant ever. The food was crappy, the place looks run down and everything else was bad. Avoiding this place at all cost

Cheap dim sum that taste great. I recommend the pork and shrimp siomai, siomai, beef ball, hakao, and Japanese siomai. And I don't know why but I love their garlic rice so much.

Gday! Its Ron from Sydney Australia. Last year I was invited by my best friend to try this authentic Chinese Dim Sum cuisine. And I was blown away! The food was absolutely fantastic. Fresh and the menu selection is amazing. I will highly recommend this to all my family and friends here in Manila and all over the Philippines. And most especially to all my friends Down Under. So Mate indulge yourself with some of this scrumptious menus at Wan Chai Tea House. Its really terrific !!! Two Thumbs Up

I've been to this branch several times in the past. I have always enjoyed their 47 peso dimsum until I was introduced to another nearby Chinese dimsum/seafood restaurant. Since then I have never looked back. Until today. Which was an utter disappointment for me. We arrived for dinner around 7pm and ordered their rice meals. We ordered the soy chicken rice, asado rice and the beef wanton hand pulled noodles. When our orders arrived, I noticed that the soy chicken still had blood in it. The waiter immediately took it away for extra steaming. My asado looked pale and when I tasted it, it was just sweet. It was not your usual order of asado and I felt defeated. Tasted the beef wanton soup and again felt unhappy about the turn of events. It was nothing like the taste of the usual hand pulled noodles that I frequent a few blocks from here. Never have I felt so glum about any Chinese restaurant. Sadly we left our unfinished food with a vow of not coming back again.

We've been here quite a few times and on each occasion, the service was really bad. They have a wide variety of dimsum, which were actually decent and quite affordable. I also love their Pattaya chicken. However, they almost always serve this after about an hour or so, which was really disappointing.

Excellent service if the place isn't crowded. We went here because of their dimsum. They are really good, especially Kuchay (but usually out of stock). They should make sure to stock more of their Kuchay because I think it's one of their food attractions.

Compared to other nearby chinese restaurants, they offer the cheapest promo which is 47 pesos for the dimsums. If you're tight on budget and want to savor chinese food, then choose this place. However, i cannot assure that the food will be as sumptuous as you expect it to be. There are days that the sharksfin are hard and not properly steamed, or the lomi have only few noodles. You may opt for the other nearby chinese resto.

It's one of the cheapest and nicest Chinese restaurants in the area. The foods are cheap but delicious. Dimsums cost only 47 pesos but are really delicious. We also tried their Beef La Mien which is currently in a promo which makes it only 100 pesos. Their service are great, the waiter are kind and have initiative in refilling waters and cleaning out the tables. The style of the restaurant looks like one of the classic restaurant at Binondo or Hong Kong. It's a must try for anyone going to Banawe.
