The Tomas Morato area is definitely a website haven. At practically every corner is an old and familiar or a new and exciting food destination, something that will spark a website’s curiosity and appetite. One such destination is Vanilla Cafe along Mother Ignacia Avenue. Formerly known as Vanilla Cupcake Bakery, it has expanded its repertoire from cupcakes and pastries to pastas and classic Filipino food.

Place was so dainty that all the customers were girls. We had cheesecake and cappuccino and it was yummy. It was just too expensive for the served portions.

3 because of their overpriced meals, nothing special in taste. I tried mostly of their breakfast menu. Compared to other Bakery Breakfast I prefer Bannaple so far from what I’ve tried.

This review is about the buffet and not the restaurant's specialty which is the Cafe that I rate as fairly good or 4. I pass by Vanilla's Mo. Ignacia branch and noticed the Tripod Board Announcement that it is offering Buffet Dinner. I walked in and inspected first what are on the table. I said wow, there are steak, lechon belly, roast chicken, veggie salad, taco, plain and steak rice, calamares, kare kare, sisig, etc. The only letdown in my eyes is the dessert which is just a fruit cocktail straight from the can. The presentation was good and there are heaters in most entrees. Since I live nearby, I tag along my family and return to be seated. After probably half an hour of trying a little bit of everything mentioned above, there wasn't still anything that I'd say can proximate the food's better counterparts elsewhere. The nearby Tramway Buffet at P250 and Sitio Verde at P350 offer better tasting food. Though it didn't cost much, still I feel sorry for shelling out P500 per pax. The only consolation, perhaps, that one can get from dining in this place is its Instagrammable interior and ambience.

Tried out this place recently i was really shocked because it was really close to where i work and the price for their Bfast Buffet it quite affordableAmbiance: It is what you call a Instragamable location, i can imagine myself in a Alice in a wonderland setting having tea party with the Mad Hatter, i was really mesmerized with the interiors and furnitures.Food: When we came here i was quite hungry so at first i thought it was quite a lot of options, however when you go back for second try that's when you notice so that was all of it, haha however i must say that for a bfast buffet, they have quite a variety with their food which i appreciated only thing i didnt like is that, they dont replenish their food as much, not unless there's ton of people.

Got the “Can’t say no” pesto from them this month. It’s all good 👍 Their breakfast buffet is also good but i hope there are more options. Their red velvet cupcake was worth a cheat day. Will come back. 🙂

Breakfast buffet was sulit with the choices and the taste. Loved the tapa and tocino, waffle for dessert. Try it! Coffee is good too. Will go back for more.

Went for the breakfast buffet with my kids and we enjoyed it. The food selection is just right on the price. The interior is homey, and is so pretty! Actually the whole place is instagramable!

This chic dessert cafe now offers a Lunch Buffet for Php358 per pax. The food selection makes it really reasonable. There is a counter for healthy salad, appetizers, pasta bar, variants of fried rice, and mains. Binagoongan rice and Kare Kare is a good combination. There’s Ice Tea and Gulaman for drink. Save room for dessert as they also include mini cupcakes for a sweet ending to the filling buffet.
