This is my perfect place. The five-star rating is for the additional sentimental factor. But of course the food and service are great. They make fine cuisine. Menu is changed every several weeks so menu is never boring. They change how the food is cooked but the quality—tasteful and delicious— always stays the same. Been coming here since this restaurant opened more than 20 years ago. The place, the food, the people who cook and serve—bring back happy memories of friends before and now. It’s my neighborhood hang out that has outlived all other restaurants in Tomas Morato. Unlike the main meals, dessert rarely changes. My favorite is the flourless cake. Wifi: not available. Smoking area: a nice one on the second floor.

A good friend suggested this place for cheesecake and coffee after a lengthy and fun lunch in a nearby restaurant. And I was charmed. It's old school (there is no POS), quiet and housed in an airy mid-century house. The cheesecake (P75/slice) needed no crust and was fluffy, not too sweet and creamy! I liked it so much I bought several more for my family, together with some slices of flourless chocolate cake (P75/slice) and carrot cake (P65/slice). Where in the metro can you find really good cake at those prices? Oh, and they have bread daily. I am definitely hanging out in this area again.

This is my favorite "serenity" place in Tomas Morato. I love their #Carrot #Cake and #Cafe Americano. It's the place where most celebrities go to for lunch and merienda. They serve a variety of #pasta, #viands and #rice meals.Every month they change their menu but their desserts are staple. I also love their freshly baked #bread.

First and foremost, let me give this fair warning!DO NOT ORDER THE LENGUA DE PARILLA. Such a small serving and it didn't not even taste good. Ulk. The lengua was so dry and old, it looked literally like tounge. Tasted like tounge too! Wasted P220 on that one.Now to be fair, on to my resto review:Another classic home turned into a resto. You will see the structure of the 2-storey old house once you enter barely decorated. A very minimalist style which is not true to the usual ancestral home.Quite disappointed with the number of choices from the menu and quite frankly, I couldnt understand half of it because of its fancy words. They will serve you with freshly baked breads upon ordering. I liked the focaccia bread. But it's quite annoying how they give you small cubes of butter at a time. On a positive note, the bread was delish! Tasted like those fancy once they serve in 5 star hotels. You can also but the bread for 70 in the resto, if you want it as take home.We ordered several items as it was my brothers birthday. Only a few stood out to my liking:1. Barbecued Lamb with Bucco - the lamb was very soft, it almost melts in your mouth. I normally don't like lamb but this was really good. It doesn't have that awkward flavor. The mint taste was subtle too. The serving is big too. It can be shared by 2 or 3. 2. Panko Crusted Salmon - the salmon was a bit dry but the flavor was good. 3. Chili and Pesto shrimp Linguine - this is the only order that was quite big in serving. Appreciate that the shrimps were plenty too!4. Cheesecake - a lot like Japanese Cheesecake. Refreshing after a heavy dinner.Overall, I was not impressed. I am not recommending. Overpriced dishes that offers nothing unique or outstanding.

Definitely a good find! Uno serves one of the best cheesecakes (in my opinion) at a price of just P75 per slice! It it extra creamy that is why i love it.

What a waste! I was so excited to eat here as I've heard great things about this resto's pasta offerings. Whatever goodwill the food and the chill surroundings would have generated went out the window when my boss and I had to wait an hour and a half for our food. Apparently, they ran out of gas and had to use charcoal to cook our food. At the very least, someone should have informed us of the delay, allowing us the option to dine elsewhere, or gave us discounts or freebies to compensate for the time we needlessly spent there. Sadly, neither of these took place.

I've often wondered what this fine looking resto near my fave cafe (CBTL Tomas Morato) with wooden windows has to offer. Finally, I was able to realize the same when I suggested to my family that we dine here for my brother's birthday. The experience was disappointing!I was deceived by how the resto looks like from the outside. The interiors were bare with just literally tables & chairs without any decorations. Its only saving grace is the food was good & tasty. But don't ever make the mistake of going here for a special occasion. It's just casual dining.Romaine Salad (P180) & Mix Greens (P220) - forgettableFocaccia (P70) - I thought the bread was complimentary. Anyways, it's good. Hard crust & soft bread.Lengua (P220) - small. It was later clarified that it really was just for appetizer & not main courseFree Range Chicken (P420) - good & tastyLamb (P680) - serving was big. Quite flavorful.Shrimp Pesto Pasta (P340) - so-soSalmon Fillet (P560) - good enoughApple Pie (P65) & Chocolate Cake (P65) - So-soCheesecake (P70) - Really good & reasonably priced. I would recommend this. The staff were inattentive & they only accept cash.Taste - 4.5Value for Money - 3.5Service - 2Ambience - 2

Had dinner at 8 pm on a Saturday, the place was not so crowded compared to their parking space. My hubby had to move his car twice. I remember how good their chili shrimp pesto pasta was when I ate here before, but unfortunately it didn't remind me how I enjoyed the pasta before. The beef fries is bland and comes with a bland chili bitter to dip in. The shoulder pork loin is a bit dry and salty. The only things I like are: their freshly baked bread, the simple, cozy and quiet atmospehere and the courteous waitress.

Their cakes are goooood... One of which is fallen cake. A must try if it is your first time to visit. Good place for a date as well, cozy and has the good feel. Limited parking space outside. Otherwise 👍👍👍👏

Minimalist type of resto.. No wall decors. No music. Just tables, chairs and a very delicious freshly baked bread while you wait for your entree. The serving is good for sharing. My friend ordered local tenderloin and he found it so-so same as my fettuccine. Its taste like my home cook tuna pasta but chicken. Best thing about this is they change menu every now and then. At least guest can try different menu and of course their bread. Did I mention that they have bread too?
