Had late dinner here because we were craving for kebab. We ordered their Beef Kebab and their Shawarma Rice. The Beef Kebab was served with salsa and buttered rice. It was just okay, nothing special. The Shawarma Rice was dry and had a meager serving of veggies. The dishes were just enough to satisfy our cravings however, their sauces were GOOD! It brought the dishes to another level.

Leason learned: do not order any dish which is not the restaurant’s specialty. Our usual order from Uncle Moe’s menu was great as expected. Until we tried the soy (or roast?) chicken noodles from Uncle Roast. Compared to the photo on the menu, the plate was full of noodles and the noodles were thick. When the dish arrived at our table, it was only half of the plate and were thin (like angel hair vs canton). However, the food quantity was not the problem, in fact, it became a favor. The chicken was bland while the noodles were overly salted. I think they should just stick with their Uncle Moe’s menu if they cannot successfully identify the right taste of soy chicken, dimsum, and noodles.

Ordered all beef shawarma rice pero puro taba and litid dumating. Mas maganda yung beef sa tomas morato kesa dito sa store na to. Sana lang maayos nila next time yung quality ng meat nila.

Big servings. I love their Garlic sauce. Enough to fill an empty stomach. But I wouldn’t want to eat here everyday there’s just to much oil with everything they serve.

A few month's back, my group suddenly decided to eat at Uncle Moe's (I've heard about it but never really tried it). Sadly, I had to backed out for something I don't even remember what. Basta, I wasn't able to pig out with these lovely ladies. The good thing is, they forewarned me already about the place. It's a quick bite eatery, prices are dirt cheap and there's a possibility that I might see a German Cockroach running for its dear life while a take a bite on my Beef Kebab. Check! It's better to be prepared. Now, with the proper warning, I visited their branch in Malingap Street. Actually, I was more than prepared. So, when the server decided to just not be nice on that day, I just shrugged her off. I was on the look out for that German insect more than being bothered by a not-so-nice-server-with-a-not-nice-face. I just let her be.My Double Cheesy Keema Shawarma arrived (the Beef Kebab I ordered on another day) with ice-cold Coke Light. After a few clicks, I attacked. You see, I just came from a taping of a pollitical talk show in Intramuros and haven't had anything on my tummy (except of this birthday noodles which I didn't quite enjoy to eat, gutom lang). It didn't take long to have the taste of the shawarma creeping on my tongue. The beef, vegetables and melted cheese were good together. And it got a universe better when I drowned it with Garlic sauce. The shredded vegetable helped to add texture and mild vegetables flavor.I finished the Double Cheesey Keema Shawarma in less than 15 minutes (I'm positive of the time because I was on a tight schedule, I had to meet someone and gave myself 20 minutes tops!) and for my Coke Light, additional 5 minutes (it was too cold to gulp everything down). The German Roach never appeared but if ever, I will always be prepared for him. As for me doing a revisit, well, this was second time, right?

Service is really fast. Consistent quality but the servers are apathetic. My favorite combination of order is all beef shawarma rice and kofta balls and i cant finish it on my own.

Yung all-beef shawarma okay lang. It's definitely better than the much-hyped Tri-Mo shawarma in Fairview, but still falls short of the real deal.

Internet here is fast. Food is amazing and prices are reasonable. I love their hummus. Fast service as well. Clean place and clean bathroom as well.
