Last Sunday, I went out with my colleagues/friends and we had late lunch at Uncle Cheffy Robinson's Magnolia. When I looked up the place here at website, I was impressed by the interior and so I recommended it to our group. When we got there, it was perfect for an average budgeted group. We looked at menu to see what we'll order. For me, the price was kind of intimidating especially if you're on a budget or probably if you are "kuripot". However, it's not as impossible as it may seem when you're in a group. Just give it a shot and you'll know why it's priced as it is. Our order came after a moment. We had panizza as our appetizer and it was good. I forgot what it was called though. We had another panizza that's called All Meat Barbecued and it was super! It's now my favorite at Uncle Cheffy. We also had oysters, chicken and this group platter for All Meat Barbeque that included chicken, steaks, etc. The huge platter costs Php 820.00 and it came with a big bowl of rice which can be shared. Food is certainly great at Uncle Cheffy. I promise. Overall, I'd say the restaurant did well. I just have mention though that they didn't serve drinking water right away which somehow bothered me as a guest. If food is that good, people will eat a lot and choke fast. Waiters should be prompt or alert in giving water to customers. It's a minor thing but may affect customer service. Nonetheless, I still recommend and would like to commend Uncle Cheffy. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I personally think that Uncle Cheffy is one of the most underrated restaurants out there. The dishes may be simple but they pack a lot of punch. I love their panizzas! I like that they come with tomatoes, lettuce, and alfalfa on the side. It's definitely a healthier version of the traditional pizza. Also, do not get fooled on how thin these panizzas are because I was filled with just a couple of slices. Another must-get is their garlic-studded pork belly. It's reminiscent of the typical Pinoy Lechon but more garlicky and flavourful. Service is always excellent at Uncle Cheffy. I appreciate that the staff did not need to be told of water refills. Always a solid option for lunch or dinner with friends and family.

Fast service and great food. I recommend their baked salmon and any of the pan pizzas. Their grilled oysters are relished and not pricey compared to other restaurants. 👌🏻

My friends and i tried their all-you-can-eat chicken for 199php, which was disappointing. The chicken was rubbery and did not have much flavor. You really need the sauce for it to taste like something palatable. Maybe next time we should order their pizzas or pastas, but one thing's for sure-- you shouldn't try their chicken or you'll be sorely disappointed.

Food was ok, i think. It felt like the food was not prepared well and overseasoned as it was very salty. Oyster was not fresh. It felt like that the shell of the oyster was a mere plate.Service was not really good. I had to call the server several times to have my order and to refill my drink. The complementary water tasted like the water from a pool. Overall, I think I overpaid in this buffet.

Good food, good selection, good serving sizes, but this branch needs to get a new chef. The food is not cooked properly - usually overcooked and tough.

My recent visit to Uncle Cheffy’s branch at Robinson’s Magnolia gave us a quiet and te’te ‘a te’te evening. The store is located at the second floor, quite roomy and overlooking the garden of the old Magnolia ice cream house (remember that this place is the old Magnolia ice cream factory). Since it is already late, we wanted to have a light meal but we ended up over eating. We tried their Creamy pasta, Pasta Alejandro and Tiuey Pasta. I am not into white sauce so I didn’t even taste the creamy pasta. The pasta Alejandro was a bit sweet for me, I go for a little sour tasting pasta. The tiuey pasta has beef and cilantro but it tasted too salty. What I like is their panizza. It’s a brick-oven cooked, thin flat pizza. It’s like pizza in soft tacos and you can put extra toppings like alfalfa, salad green, dice tomatoes and sweet onion. Then roll your panizza and eat like it’s a burrito. It’s delicious and I’m sure you too will enjoy eating this thing called panizza. We’ll be back again, I would like to try other food in their menu.
