I enjoyed my very first Uke Box experience!! We went there on a Friday night so there's an Open Mic happening. The people who sang there were really good! "The Voice" quality promise. 😍 The food was okay... Usual comfort food. ❤😊

Uke box is a hip hawaiian-inspired cafe found in libis, quezon city. They launched a completely new menu this week that includes hawaiian favourites like spam, pinapple, and coconut-based dishes. I was able to try the salted-egg chips, spicy hawaiian ribs, spam fries, and garlic soup. Most of the dishes were hearty, and had good flavours. My favourite was the spicy ribs dish. The ribs were really really tender and smothered with a sweet barbeque sauce with a kick. The salted egg chips were a little heavy, but totally addicting. Garlic lovers would love the strong but balanced flavours of the smashed garlic soup. This place not only has good food, but they offer ukelele rental and lessons for a minimal fee. Ukeleles are also on sale, and priced between 1500-3000. The ambiance is pretty cool. Aside from having regular tables, they have double-deck bunks with bean bags where you can have their specialty coffee from around the phils.
