Tried out their cheesecake with blueberry whipped cream. This is actually a must try because it's not really the common blueberry cheesecake that you see in stores. And it's actually really tasty. Not too sweet. And usually when you order certain cakes at UCC there's free coffee at a reasonable price. try out their sandwiches too.

My love affair with UCC started when we had to evacuate to a family friend's house in north edsa because of typhoon Ondoy. I thought I just liked their coffee because I was stressed out that time. So I tried UCC again after a couple of months. Fortunately, the coffee is still best in town. Service is fast and most of the crew is polite. Coffee and drinks are affordable but if you're on a budget, you might want to go somewhere else. Sandwich and breakfast meals are priced from 300 to 400 pesos. But if you feel like splurging for a plate of clubhouse sandwich. Then go ahead. Must try is their halo halo and halo halo cake. Very sinful but yummy!!

Upon entering the cafe you will be greeted by the staff on a Japanese language. I have my voucher with me for "Free Cake of the Day" that I got from my Megaworld Lifestyle Planner. When I settled for my seat, I told the staff that I have a voucher and she said that their cake of the day is Mango Crème Brûlée. I then ordered for a Caramel Macchiato and gave her the voucher. It took them 20 minutes to prepare for the coffee (there are 4 tables occupied that time) so it's understandable. But they served my cake for more than 45 minutes. And if I didn't remind the staff that I still don't have my cake, they will not serve it. After that it only takes 5 minutes for her to served it to me because she will just get it from their counter of cakes. I went there on a different date and the serving was different. It was fast this time. I ordered for their halo halo cake and paired it with cafe mocha. The cake was really delicious! It has ice cream on the center and the cake was complete with leche flan and ube fillings! The sweetness is ok. If you are a fan of halo-halo, you should definitely try this!
