It could have been 5 but the staff are not friendly. They pick the person who’ll they assist with the tables which is very disappointing. Love the food though. And their Brown Sugar Milk Tea is the yummiest so far.

Filed under: Restaurants attempting to join the milktea bandwagon but failing miserably...Disclaimer: This is a milktea review!Giddy as always to try new milkteas, I ordered Brown Sugar Okinawa in their to-go counter. It was a sad moment seeing my order looking so good on posters, but looking blegh in reality *cue sad violin*. Talk about false advertising. :( I can let go of the presentation, but the taste... taste was the biggest disappointment.I know milktea is not your forte, but at least charge less for this cheap-tasting "milktea" . I can even feel some undissolved sugar granules in my mouth. Not sure if it was a bad order but you claim Brown Sugar Okinawa to be one of your 'best-sellers'. Unless you improve your formula, better to get out of the milktea business before it ruins your reputation.

I always wanted to try for the longest time and luckily i just did recently.Tuan Tuan then secured a spot on my top favorite Chinese restaurants. I love the pork buns (better than Tim Ho Wan) and also the Siu Mai.Ambiance and service is fancy and equally great. Overall, amazing experience ❤

Fancy decor, classy flooring and marble tables. Walls lined with pictures and high ceilings. This is how Tuan Tuan welcome their guest for a gastronomic feast. As it was a rainy day, we decided to get their malay laksa fish soup combo and elixir herbal soup combo noodles sets. Both came with side dishes of spring roll and chicken teriyaki. On top, we got the deep fried seafood roll, beancurd rolls with shrimp and chives, the chicken feet, chicken and mushroom, pork bun and the duck bun. Aside from those, my sisters got their cajun style pork cutlet and the house special trio. The laksa is different from the singaporean variety. It was a little on the tangy side but still good. The elixir soup had an herbal medicinal taste which I did not really fancy but I think it is perfect match for the dimsum. The duck and pokr buns were savory and fluffy. The other dimsum were also good but not exceptional. Service staff was fast and attentive.

Pork bun is edible but not special. The texture of the dough is is bad especially compared to the sand-like Tim How Wan's. The pork inside tastes good and is not too sweet.

I have to give this restaurant a really poor review because they serve breaded sweet and sour fish with bones in it. I almost seriously injured myself after getting a mouthful and chomping down hard on breaded halibut with lots of really hard and sharp bones left.

One of my fave chinese restos in Metro Manila! I like a lot of their dishes especially their pork buns and salted egg shrimp. I’ve also tried their noodles, which you can customize to your liking. Update:They’ve recently offered their own line of milk teas. So far so good. I tried their fruit tea which was yummy!

On a rainy day or you feel you want comfort food try the soup here . They also have set menu : soup side dish and coffee or tea.. The other food variands are equally satisfying

Hong Kong comfort food can be found at Tuan Tuan at UPTC. Tuan Tuan means “put together” and when reading the menu it really offers a wide variety of different dishes from Laksa to Chicken Teriyaki. I ordered their famous Crispy Barbequed Pork Snow Buns, Pork and Century Egg Congee, Chicken Teriyaki and Ho Fan Beef Noodles. Everything tasted delicious and the service was good. I didn’t like the mix of chairs. Some chairs were steel with no padding. Typically outdoor chairs. Their round tables were a bit small for a group of 4 pax too. Be warned, for some reason the machuca floor tiling is way too slippery. It’s so slippery that they have to put one of those plastic yellow signs in the middle of the restaurant. What a nightmare for the Owners of the restaurant. Try to enjoy your food but don’t say that you weren’t warned.

I’ve been readying myself for the Tuan Tuan Eat All You Can Promo — and all the food did not disappoint! I was expecting the quality of food to be a little dampened, but hooray it was anything but.I got the Laksa Noodle Soup, Sweet & Sour Balsamic Spareribs, Chicken Feet, and of course, the Barbecue Pork Buns. The laksa was definitely the show stopper: it had a great kick of spice, the coconut was so aromatic, and the boldness of flavor was on point. The noodles were a little too soft though, would’ve been 5/5 if it were al dente. The Pork Buns never fail to disappoint as well (I will always be in love with that flaky bun. Sigh.) Thank you Tuan Tuan!
