My brother-in-law treated us here on his birthday recently. I did not recall what were ordered to be exact, but I remember we had kare kare mixed platter (i think it was crispy pata, beef, and shrimp with the standard veggies).Given that kare kare is their flagship, it did not disappoint. The sauce is thick and the flavor is rich and extraordinary, you won't need to add bagoong anymore. The beef was tender, and the crispy pata lives to its name.I also requested for salpicao, which my family remarked to be a bit salty but I think it's becauseEit was meant to be consumed with rice to balance the flavors out.I also would like to commend the server William who has enthusiastically served everyone in SM North EDSA Annex branch. I believe it is his aura which also pulls customers back to the establishment.

Tres was definitely the house of Kare-Kare. We tried their Beef Belly kare-kare and the sauce is very creamy peanut buttery taste. We also ordered Beef Salpicao, Gambas Ala Ajillo, Sinigang na Hipon, Pinakbet with Bagnet, Pancit luglog and Tres Crispy Pata for take home.Food serving is generous and server was very accomodate and always put customer first.Kuddos! Sir William and the rest of the crew it was nice meeting you.Hope to visit again. Highly recommended. #trescuisine #trescuisineph #filipinothemedrestaurant #karekare

Kare-kare is one of my most favorite foods. I have passed by this restaurant in Annex for years and never paid much attention to it at first. (But was always curious as to why so many people eat in their place) One day, my mom insisted for us to go in that place, because she knew kare-kare is my favorite. Skeptical at first, because so many restaurants claim that they have the "best kare-kare" (tried, was okay, edible yes, but you know, never marked in my mind) so I ordered their Classic Kare-kare to gauge if they really have the best as to what their claims are. Had to wait for 20mins, nearing irritability, but tried to be patient. Then, there it was. It was served on a platter, the sauce is in a mini ceramic spouted pot. (Thought it was peculiar out of all Kare kare i ever experienced) got them veggies, meat, then poured over their golden sauce. And then ate it. And mygod. It is true. They are the real house of Kare-kare. Most legit I ever tasted. This restaurant should be bowed down by the bogus claimers of the "best kare-kare". Rating 5 stars. :)

Kare kare kare is really their specialty, yummy! Ordered kare kare, sisig and still want some bulalo soup but we are only 3. Thanks to kuya who suggested we can order bulalo soup only so we can satisfy our cravings.

It was a good choice to dine in here. The place is okay and clean. Their Beef Tapa is superb! You’ll even want to put your rice on the left over sauce. Tasty Pinakbet with Bagnet. Lovely Mango cake, I forgot it’s exact name! Will definitely bring my parents here when I have the chance too. Thumbs up!
