Though I appreciated beef, consuming it with gusto is hardly a desire. I am a typical Asian with a taste bud that is so very oriental. Japanese and Chinese, with a little bit of Korean and Cantonese cuisines, often ruled my dining desires. But when we dropped by at Torch restaurant one fine Saturday afternoon, I momentarily discarded my oriental food hankering to try something new.

We keep going back to Torch in Trinoma (our first time was actually at their branch in greenhills) for their great food...and all so reasonably priced! Servers are also friendly and accommodating 😊 Highly recommended are the following: chicken yakitori, hawaiian chicken bbq, US angus tenderloin medallions (my son’s favorite!!!) and Uncle’s 5 cheese pizza!

Torch has always been on our list when it comes to dining options mainly due it's variety of offerings and huge servings. Perfect for a family of four, just like ours.

We ordered Buffalo wings, California Maki and Margherita.The California was very good, you can taste the individual ingredients and the salmon roe was generous. The seaweed was a bit chewey but averall it was good.Second came the buffalo wings. They were very disappointing as they were extremely dry and a bit raw. The sauce was also so-so and tasted a bit weird.The pizza was also so-so. The crustWas so thin that the slice become too mushy as the cheese made the crust too moist. Flavor was so-soOverall my Impression is that this is a jack all trades master of non resto.

The guard was pointing us to seat at the couch but the waiter told us that the table was reserved. Waited about 10mins to settle the confusion.
