The staffs treatment is always a big deal to me. We were well accomodated during our stay 😊The food, there's a wide selection of it and the taste it will depend on how you're gonna cook it 😊

I love Tong Yang, they have a grill and a shabu shabu cooker at each table where you can cook and share with your company. You can be as creative as you can on the cooking, anything goes.

During last week's Birthday celebration of my sister, we opted to eat here instead of going to an ordinary ala carte serving restaurant. This is the nearest to her place and so we chose this branch.Actually the night before, I happened to ask the MOA branch of how much Tong Yang Shabu Shabu and Grill costs and that they honor the celebrant for a Free Buffet on their birthday! We are soo glad naman that I suggested it to my sister. But when we get to this branch, it's disappointing that they do not have that promo here! 😁So we all had to pay including the Birthday sister.Anyways we go on with the Lunch since we do not want to ruin her day na searching for a place to eat.We did enjoy it though we've been to other grilling Buffet na before. I'm glad they have a wide option though most of the fish meats di namin masyado kilala. Sa Pork and Beef, winner!I guess in terms of Dessert like Halo halo, Cakes, Ice cream (kasi may vanilla) and Drinks, sulit!!!I personally enjoyed Seafoods kasi may Oysters and Shrimps!!!I just boiled the oysters and easier kasi unshelled na. And then dip it sa Spicy vinegar, yay!!! 😍My mom and sister and bro in law enjoyed the veggies, Shabu shabu kasi healthy and meat balls and Maki rolls!Next time I'm sure Ill go back sa Tong Yang but sa Moa or W mart branch na kasi bago and mas classy ang interiors.

Not my kind-of-buffet place.Nothing special.Inconvenient, as we were placed at the 2F.Where would you see a buco pandan dessert w/o buco meat? A lychee w/ almond w/ just small & few bits of lychee? We felt shortchanged with this.SAD TUMMY!SAD PURSE!

We made a reservation for 90 people to celebrate our baby's Baptism. We had a room that they said would fit 54 people, and 3 rooms with 12 people capacity each. Overall, I'm torn about the review because the food was satisfying but the service was very disappointing at Tong Yang Centris Branch:1. The room with 54 people and dozens of hotpots without exhaust had malfunctioning air-conditioning but the management did not inform us before the event. It was very hot. We requested for the staff to make the room cooler so a staff tried to adjust the thermostat but the aircon was not responding. We asked them to install electric fans several times but we didn't receive response until much later. The management should have checked the facility and at the very least, they should have prepared the electric fans prior the event. They only told us the aircon in the room was under maintenance when we were already telling them that the room was too hot.2. They provided electric fans at some point when the event was almost 2/3 done. Unfortunately, my daughter's finger was cut badly after she stuck her hand in one of the fans. Their first aid kit was some whole cottons and a small bottle of betadine.3. Their headcount management is not efficient for large number of guests. They didn't provide guest registration. We offered our guest list to them but they said they didn't do guest registration. They said they will have different staffs stationed in each room to do the manual counting. This method was error prone because people may be transferring to different tables and/or rooms to socialize with other people. People came and left at different times, some also left and came back after smoking. So I'm not sure how they ensured there was no one who got counted twice. Since they were manually counting, there was also no easy way to check their total tally at the end. This was a big disappointment. Instead of four staffs stationed in each room, only 1 or 2 staffs manning a guest registration booth would have sufficed and assured me that I paid for the correct headcount.4. I enjoyed the food as I always do when I visit any Tong Yang branch. That's why even without any promo, I pushed for our celebration to be held here. I recommend that you visit other branches like Sm North the Block instead. I discovered too late that the Tong Yang at The Block offered birthday promos and reserve for 10 people you'll get to bring 1 more person for free. In Tong Yang Centris branch, our only discount was 4 kids. When I pointed out that there was at least 3 senior citizens, that's the only time they deducted the senior citizen's discount. Good thing that the three seniors haven't left by the time I was settling the bill. This is one of the reasons that I don't trust the tally they gave me at the end.

My parents were craving for some hotpot while i was craving for some grilled meat so we thought of coming to tong yang to have both.We got the sinigang and chicken soup base for our hotpot. Sinigang is my parents favorite while I can’t decide what to get so i chose chicken which i think is the most flexible soup base next to sinigang. However, i was disappointed with their selection for their hotpot.. first of all, they dont have plain chicken that will best suit the chicken soup. So we resorted to chicken balls, mushrooms, some vegetables and glass noodles for our chicken soup. We didn’t have any problem with the sinigang bases since there were several seafoods that could be put in the soup. True enough, we almost placed all the fishes offered as well as mussels. With regard to their grill, I didn’t like their selection. It was very limited. Their meats were dry. But i like that they have those that we usually buy in the streets (eg, pork isaw and betamax).Their cooked foods were also very limited. Didn’t try any because they don’t look appealing. The desserts were also limited. They had a selection of ice cream but they dont have any toppings that could go with the ice cream. Aside from the ice cream, they also offer halo-halo but they dont have leche flan to go with it so i didnt try to make one.I want four seasons hot pot better than tong yang because they have a wider selection of soup base and a wider selection of items you can put in it.

They try to tell us we’re Tong Yang haha. Bumarat moves kami dito nakaraan and so far ayos naman. Hahaha What I am trying to say is yung seafoods/shellfish choices nila halos di ko ma feel. I was expecting crab and shrimps pero nakakalungkot. Halos di sumayad sa lagayan ubos na. And halos di nila nirerefill kaya laging ubos talaga. Considering the barat price of halos 700 may grill and shabu shabu na. Ok narin siguro for the experience. Anyways the main focus here is the grill and shabu shabu naman talaga. Actually nag enjoy ako dito and siguro magugustuhan nyo rin dito. All in all ok narin for the price. Haha

Tong Yang is one of our favorite buffet resto. We can grill and have hot pot at the same time. We celebrated my husband's promotion via lunch buffet. Staff were very attentive and always roaming to assist customers. They have ready to eat food like sushi, pancit, fried pork and chicken, yang chow, crabs. I saw buko pandan, cakes, halo halo and ice cream on their dessert section. They got 3 broth for the soup. We chose mild spicy and sinigang. I love the versatily of sinigang. We put shrimp, gindara fillet, parrot fish on it. I did not like the mild spicy because of the limited choices to put on it. Pricelist is not updated, lunch buffet on weekend is now 695. Sadly their soda machine was out of order.

Good bang for your buck. I suggest to go at least 20 minutes before dinner service starts so you can reserve a table because the lines get long.
