First time to visit this branch after it was renovated. It looks better on first look. However, when I was about to take my seat, I noticed many bits of rice on the floor and pieces of tissue paper. When it comes to their service, it badly needs improvement. I took 40minutes to serve our food even after numerous follow-up. When they served the tonkatsu, it didn’t have any sauce with it so we asked 2 crews. Still no sauce so had to head to the counter to get the sauce. Also, one of the drinks wasn’t also served together with the food. We had to follow—up. The frustration was just really getting bad after a series of incidences and since we had a senior citizen with us who was getting hungry after waiting for almost an hour. This was supposed to be a fastfood place but even a restaurant could serve the food faster.

Usual tokyo tokyo branch. Not exceptional. Food was okay. Chicken karaage was nice. Lacks flavor. The california maki roll was a disaster. It was loose as fudge. The packaging was all moist and the bottom of the rolls were soaked with water. Just NO. Wagyu cubers were okay. Served on sticks. Charred on one side. Sauce was a bit too salty. The veggies that comes with the bento meals were something that passes. But again. Not the best. For a total price of 550 I suggest spending a bit more on authentic Japanese restaurants.

This was a real steal from a fastfood restaurant! The presentation, taste and ingredient are of stellar quality! It was eye-catching, filling and budget-friendly.

The restaurant is nice, okay food, and okay service. It is a bit over priced  based on the food and the service type of the restaurant. I hope they improve the food quality  to meet with the restaurant prices.  Overall it was an okay experience and would like to try it again.

I wanted to try their Beef Misono Bento Set because of that commercial with Daniel Matsunaga. Lol. Off I went to the nearest branch in Trinoma. The area was not full although I found that because it was open a lot of flies were roaming about. I got a table near the Ramen section. My order came few minutes after. The rice was delicious, fragrant and soft the way I want my Japanese rice. The soup with a nice helping of tofu was excellent. The vegetables crispy and fresh. I was a bit disappointed that with the beef misono. It was sooo salty! I did not even bother to dip it in the soy sauce! I would not order the Beef Misono again. I am game to try the Yakiniku when I get the chance hope it won't end up too sweet. The staff are polite. I wished they would be more attentive to those who wanted extra rice, people had to call out to get it. I would want the place to be cleaner though. Less sticky tables for the diners.
