We went here on a very hot afternoon, a late celebration of my birthday with my girlfriends. I just searched some nearest cafes here on website, of all, I chose Third Cup Cafe since I liked the place based on the photos. The place has very nice interior. Warming and relaxing. We've noticed that most of customers are studying or doing their laptop works alone. Good place for studying, reading a book or paper works. Me and my girlfriends had a lot of stories to tell, and we had a hard time lowering the tone of our voices, to give respect to the other customers. And I think it is better if I chose other resto than a cafe. Haha! They only have 2 crews; not that approachable and they always leave the counter, the customer tends to wait for them to come back to give their orders. Though, they are polite. We ordered all of their pasta except Carbonara, then Nutella Crunch and Potato Wedges (must try!) For me, the best pasta was the Sausage Pesto. I wasn't able to finish my order, Puttanesca, I saw a strand of hair on it. I didn't complain since I already loss my appetite, I won't be able to finish it even if they replace it. I just continued chitchatting with my friends. We didn't order any cold drinks or frappe since we're going to visit Barkin' Blends (located on the same commercial building) after. All in all, still it's a good cafe. Maybe next time we'll try their offered cold drinks and pastries to see if they're good at it.

Nice little espresso for Php 50? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. But as soon as I got a sip, meh. Too bitter and watery for my taste. But if you're after the caffeine high and not the taste, this does the trick for less! Perfect interiors, perfect music, and if there isn't a bunch of people, perfect place to work. 👌

I have been in katipunan everyday for 5year and this year was the first time i got to see and be in third cup cafe. The place is great, and the desserts are to die for specially the lava cake! A must try

Finally I'm able to visit and try this coffee shop! I always try to find it using waze but it won't detect properly. Anyways. The place is lovely. I like the design and the book stand with other artsy things with it but I don't know if you could read it or it's just for designs. The wall designs are a thumbs up too. I just find the drink a little pricey since it just tasted like a normal shake. Perfect place to study tho since there aren't much people in here. The price is just a little bit higher than other cafes.

I ❤️ coffee!!! But I'm not a serious coffee drinker. By this, I mean that I like frou-frou coffee, with milk and syrup, all the bells and whistles!😊 I'm not a black coffee kind of gal... I'm not a purist when it comes to coffee, I don't know how to discern undertones and such... But I know enough to tell what I like and what tastes good for me... Coffee is a delicious habit that I indulge in, not a way of life, as is the case for some people... It's a great pick-me-up and study companion for me!😊Now, I love character and personality in restaurants... It doesn't matter what kind of personality, I just love the authenticity that comes thru with the whole package... 💜This place is pretty simple, done in pastel colors... A bookshelf occupies one of the walls, filled with interesting knick knacks and great book titles... It is a wide space with many tables and chairs, as well as many sockets for laptop/cellphone chargers. A lot of students were here during our visit, in meetings or studying... We chose a seat by the booth, situated below the bookshelf...💚We sought help in ordering as it was our first time. Their barista suggested their best seller, the espresso julep, their mint+ coffee offering. They offered pairings with food, but we were quite full when we visited and stuck to drinks. But they do offer pastries from Purple Oven!!! Two thumbs up!👍👍 their coffee is cheaper than commercial chains... I would just like to note that they do not have credit card services available, so come with cash!😁The espresso julep was okay for me, but I did taste my friends' toffee nut frappe, which was pretty great! I like it much better than the drink I chose... But that didn't stop me from enjoying the vibe and our conversation!💛 we will definitely try their savory offerings! This place had a lot of turnover of establishments in the past, but I hope Third Cup will be staying...👏Most recently, we watched Juan Ekis' play Kapeng Barako: Samahan ng mga Bitter... It was a small venue, but we enjoyed the hugot lines from the play!👍

This is usually my go-to place in Katipunan whenever I need to study. It's located in the building just beside Shakey's, the same building with establishments like Laybare and Nail-It! It's usually packed with students buried in their books or reports to finish. What I love most about this place is the fact that they offer cheaper coffees and drinks (compared to Starbucks and the like) and you can stay here until 12 midnight. As for their drinks, I usually order Chai Chocolate (P120) or Matcha Green Tea Latte (P120) which are equally good. Their coffee classics range from P60-120. I ordered Monte Cristo because I read a recommendation somewhere that it was good. There wasn't anything special about it, I found it to be too plain. I'd prefer the sandwich I've tried today- Kani Shrimp (P140). It was delicious but it would've tasted better with more Japanese Mayo in it. My sister ordered the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguine (P170) which was also tasty. Final Verdict:⭐️ Generous serving for a reasonable price⭐️ Open til 12 midnight⭐️ Good ambiance for studying

Went to Third Cup Cafe with friends for an event. It was a bit hidden from the street, but it's not difficult to find. For drinks, I have tried the Americano and Coffee Walnut Frappe. The Americano is great but the frappe lacks the coffee flavor. For dishes, I had the Kani Shrimp Sandwich and Bacon & Mushroom Pasta. Both are very generous with the servings, reasonably-priced and delicious. The interiors were very cute and the food was great, I would love to visit again to try more food and drinks.

Sought refuge here after my two unsuccessful attempts to get a table at Third District. I had to walk from Third District to Third Cup to make sure that 1) there's parking, and 2) there's an available table. I just had the car follow me when I was able to ensure both. Sigurista na ang lola!Seat and table hoarders galore here as well but not as bad as in the Third District. There's no one at the counter when I approached to order. I peered at the side and there he was! The barista was busy with his cellphone at the corner! Wow, sorry naman kuya, paistorbo lang at bibili po ako. ????Ordered a flat white hoping that it would be close to Toby's Estate. Nah, too much high hopes on this one. I give up on finding a chill out cafe in Katipunan area. ????????

I went here two times this week because the eagles are on their sembreak , thus rarely found in the area, and thus less "kaagaws" in tables. Haha It was perfect timing. I've been hearing about this place as the perfect study cafe for students like me! True enough, when I saw the cafe I was not disappointed. The place looked like and academic lounge (if there's such a thing) but way better. There are books everywhere that inspire me to write. Wifi's good too but if you need continuous fast wifi, go somewhere else. The people are quiet because everyone's studying and there's no music playing (which I prefer). They serve affordable food (less than 200 each) of generous servings and their drinks are commendable. Try the lemon pasta with shrimps (not its actual name) , cappuccino and iced tea. The lava cake isn't that good, but it would do. The staff won't judge you if you stay the whole day. You can study all day, all night until 12 am!UPDATE:They now have salads! I recently ordered their oriental chicken salad and for 120 pesos it was rally good and tasty. However, I think I ordered the wrong cup of coffee (Cinnamon Swirl Latte) since it was too sweet. (as in diabetes level) I guess they need to control their sugar levels. But nonetheless, still a good cafe. They have promos for the holiday season so make sure you drop by. And yes, their wifi still works flawlessly!

I love how chill this place is! It's so perfect when you want to stay and study for a while but not too long like the "starbucks squatters" does. It's good that they added pastas and sandwiches other than just drinks, but most of it are over price especially their food is not that well cooked. I used to like their service, ever since they opened, but months went by there's this most ANNOYING GIRL who's like the cashier/waitress who is the most LAZIEST personnel I know! Once I just entered the store and there are 4 ladies who left the table and it was perfect bcoz i was waiting for my 3 friends, so I asked the girl to kindly please clean the tables they left, I was still standing carrying my laptop w/c at this point is opened and I had things on top of the keyboard so I was waiting for her to finish only to find out she only cleaned the table where I was gonna be sitted to! At first I thought she just going to place the few glasses back in the kitchen until I noticed it's been more than 5 mins that I have been standing and I saw her sitting on the chair and singing! She didn't even wiped the whole table! I called her attention once more and the other waiter called her to clean it again, she replied that she already cleaned it and she wasn't even looking at me, the place is small so obviously she can hear me calling her, but she's still ignoring me so I went ballistic! I seriously went to her and pointed out what's wrong with her and what she did!
