I call this place the home of French and Italian pastas and bread. A go to place of pasta monsters, I call myself that. Their variety of choices for pasta is good but you would always have this favorite which you would always end up ordering for most of the time. For me, it is as simple as their beef lasagna. There is also uniqueness about the espresso freeze and it became my most ordered drink recently. The nice rating is mainly because of the delicious food that they serve. I just don't like the idea of falling in line when ordering. I know this is not a fine dining, but it adds more convenience to us if our orders are taken while seated.

Whenever I craved for pasta, TFB is one if my go to places, their fettucini alla carbonara is one of my favorites, has the perfect amount of sauce, and the saltiness is just right too, I just wish there's 2 pieces of bread that comes with it instead of one, the ambience of the place is quite nice too, really perfect for meetings, quiet lunch, or a quick afternoon snack.

French Baker has been around for decades. My lola and I used to eat here a lot when I was younger. I was a picky eater but I loved their lasagna and garlic bread. The younger me found it super cheesy and I kept asking for it. To this day, this is still one of my mom's preferred bakeries for bread. It's just very accesible and typically located near the supermarket. They know their target audience!👍 We usually have their French bread, croissants, pastry shells, and different kinds of danish at home. Their cinnamin rolls, as well as their cherry and blueberry danish are breakfast staples in our family. I love how consistent they have been for years. The pastries taste the same every time-- not to mention very affordable.

Food is not so expensive as what you will expect when you will eat here for the first time. The taste is good but not very good hehe (still good? Yeahhh!) The place is not crowded, its clean and nice. 😀

having coffee here at the french baker inside cherry foodarama on congressional ave. they're not on the map yet so i had to use the french baker sm annex...this review is for the french baker inside cherry foodarama, congressional ave.... this is our 2nd visit. the 1st visit was ok but the mango crepe's crepe was was tough - crepe was tough but mangoes were sweet and of course coffee. 2nd visit well, bought coffee and mango crepe again, the time was 5:16pm coffee was served right away, this being our favorite place to hang out - the coffee that has 1/8 of a brownie and water, the mango crepe however came a little late, we were busy chatting until we noticed 20 minutes later the crepe wasn't served yet, we asked about it and 10 minutes later it finally came, that's 30 minutes after.... we wanted to have coffee and the crepe at the same time, but upon requesting that 1 coffee be refilled... they finally gave the refill just to compensate our 30 minutes wait... oh boy!

I've been dreaming of eating at French Baker because of the wide selection of food and breads. On a Sunday afternoon, Mom and I got the chance to dine since we're both craving for soup. We ordered the Soup of the Day which was the Potato and Bacon Cream Soup poured into a bowl made of bread. The soup was tasty and served very hot. I also like the consistency of the soup. I also ordered Cordon Blue served with rice and mashed potato and mixed vegetables on the side. The chicken was a bit hard to cut since its a bit toasted, the mashed potato was okay along with the gravy sauce, I also love the vegetables!I saw other interesting food to try and will definitely go back. The staffs were accommodating and friendly.

One of my go-to restaurant is The French Baker.  I love their clubhouse sandwich and their soup, served in their soup bread.  The smell of their restaurant of freshly baked french bread is very inviting.  Their pasta meals are good too and you must try their chicken ala king as well.  When you dine in take advantage of their free water pitcher with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon inside.

One of the underrated order on their menu is their pork chop au poivre. 2 chunky pork chops that are really tasty and seasoned well that will surely satisfy your hunger. Butter crossaint and soup on a bread bowl are all time favorites. Not so friendly staff but who cares? Food is still great! :)

Nostalgic taste. Their Hickory Spareribs still taste like the ones I've been eating from my childhood days. Love their Cordon Bleu as well and I find it really amusing when they choose to plate their rice sidings in pyramid moulds. So cute! I wouldn't say it's appropriate but the children like it.

I am a sucker for french bread and pasta. Willnever get enough of them. This bakery/restaurant will always be my favorite. Today we had steak sandwich and chicken parmigiana fettucini. Both were huge servings so I split it up with my daughter. But my all time fave pasta here would be the lasagna verde. I will always love the chicken ala king and their soup on a bread bowl. Of course I won't be coming home empty handed. Love the croissants and danish pastries!
