Went here for a quiet afternoon/ evening and to focus more on reading. The place is swarmed with students or youngster who respect the needs of reviewing students. In our short stay, we got a couple of hot chai lattee, hot caramel macchiato, 2 mocha ice blends ( coz they stayed outside to smoke) and a tuna pandesal for me.VERDICT: i loooove the chai latte here. Not watered down or sweet. Also, they have a devise to notify you of your orders so it wont matter if they got your name wrong.Down side: the tuna pandesal is tough. Like really tough for a bread. Too, they didn't have their own restroom. ✌️

A good place to get coffee and hang out. Starbucks outside has a smaller seating capacity and is a bit of a pain to get to when it's raining. We saw a UCC also but it was closed early. the line at the lone cashier counter was long and I think they need to add more cashier counters because they have a big seating capacity (inside and outside). The place was almost full despite it not being a weekend (tuesday). They also took a while to prepare our food and beverages. We didn't mind but for someone who might just be passing by for takeout, they would surely be a bit irritated (at the least). I think they were undermanned tonight, maybe they didn't expect so many customers on a tuesday night.

CBTL is my only go to coffee shop ever since. Top of my beverage list are always iced Chai Tea Latte or their uber yummy pink guava juice! But today, I decided to try their iced blended mocha...and it was definitely worthy being labeled under their best-selling concoctions. For those who watch their weight, are insomniacs and glucose intolerant, you may opt for soy, non-fat milk and decaf. They also serve very good pasta, sandwiches and breakfast meals. My personal favorite is their sardines panini and eggs Benedict breakfast. If you've the CBTL Swirl Card, expect rebates and free Wi-Fi access. Definitely my kind of cafe!

I love the (hot) mocha/latte varieties of CBTL. Also, it's good to have a coffee place to go to for a decent meal, and not just have the usual sandwiches, pastries, cakes – my fave would be the spinach cheese ravioli. It's also more quiet compared to the bigger coffee chain, so it's a better environment for reading.

My go-to meeting/work place. It's not crowded between 10am-6pm on a weekday so I am able to converse with clients and work on whatever it is that I have to. Plus, I really like their playlist. In terms of food, order their blueberry bagel, spicy chicken pasta salad (which is not spicy at all, which is great!), and No-no chocolate cake for dessert.

New hang out? Yup! Loved the place's cozy aura. Surprisingly, it was very crowded for a week night but it did not make me spin my head and long to go to another place. Me and my dad (grandpa) came here after coming from Greenhills and Libis, we were quite exhausted and needed a refreshment, so I suggested we buy something from here. We both tried The Ultimate (mocha), I didn't order snacks for I had already bought some green tea croissants from Jipan (Really good, by the way.)Going back, the woman behind the cashier asked us if we wanted to purchase a membership card, it came at a very reasonable price and was for life. Not like the other cards that had expiry date. But we didn't buy one at the moment. Perhaps, next time? The drink didn't take too long, they had a buzzer like the ones in the food court and I found it convenient. Taking a sip from the drink, it was good. The ice didn't overpower the coffee and it didn't make my stomach acidic. My dad doesn't like coffee drinks but he finished this one. I actually finished mine in 7 minutes or so. Will defini(tea)ly comeback here for more of the drinks! The service was good too, note that it was around 8:30 but the servers were still grinning.

My friend and I went to starbucks and as expected, there were no vacant seats so we went to CBTL instead. I am not a fan of this coffee shop and I do not consume my drink most of the time whenever I go here. My drink is either too sweet or bitter so this time, I asked the crew what she can recommend and she said double chocolate ice blended so I went for it. Paired it also with banana caramel slice. My friend ordered only a fruit drink. Hehe the place is not too crowded and is perfect for hang out with friends.

Food/Coffee: 4/5Their coffee is good but not as sweet or bitter as we would like. My caramel macchiatto lacks that caramel taste but it's alright. My boyfriend's americano lacks that strong flavor. However, the cakes are so good! It's not too sweet. It makes you eat more and more. In short, it isn't nakakaumay! 🙌Ambience: 4.5/5The cozy place is good for people finding a place to talk, sip coffee, relax, and study. But, I would just like to recommend to add more sockets on their place so that more people (or students) with gadgets would go to this place. I only saw 2 sockets. Nevertheless, the place is good! Two thumbs up! 🙌Service: 5/5The barista and staff there are great! They are all wearing smiles whenever they approach customers. They also serve orders right in time. They even recommended purchasing their CBTL card for the benefit of regular customers. 🙌

After our lunch at Yabu, Chelsea and I decided to drop by CBTL to continue our catch up, while having some desserts. 💜 Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf offers lots of pastries, and it was so hard to choose! We finally decided on getting the Triple Decker Cheesecake for Chelsea, and the Blueberry Cheesecake for me. These are both priced at Php 145 per slice. We were expecting that we get an eighth of the cake, but when both slices were served, we were surprised at how small the serving size is. 😢 Tastewise, both cakes were okay. The Triple Decker Cheesecake is somewhat a mixture of coffee, and cookies and cream flavors, while the Blueberry Cheesecake is a plain cheesecake drizzled with a blueberry sauce and blueberry preserves. Texture was smooth and slightly fluffy, and is guaranteed to satisfy your cravings but won't make you extremely full. 😁Service in this branch is good, baristas are all friendly and accommodating. 👍 If you want a peaceful coffee shop environment, I can assure you that CBTL is better than the leading coffee ahop nowadays. 😊 #EatDrinkSplurge
