Took a late breakfast with my brother's family who was checked in at Summit Hotel. Apparently the clubhouse has a tie-up with the hotel with regard to their breakfast. That is why there was a ton of people when we came.I don't know if this set-up was to blame for the slow service. I assume they anticipated the number of people who would be having breakfast based on the people who have checked in the hotel.I don't know why their website rating is still high. The price is a bit steep for me for the kind if service and ambiance they provide. I would rather look for the nearest convenience store if ever I were to check in the hotel. Hoping the service inproves in the near future

When my dentist confirmed my dental appointment to be at 8pm, the first thing I did was open my website app and look for a good restaurant to have dinner on that night. Yes, that's how seriously I take my eating. Actually, its not so much my eating that's important to me but the restaurants I do my eating. Kid you not.So, I did my short list of three restaurants. By lunch time the next day, it's down to two. Dinner came, I decided on one - The Clubhouse on the ground floor of Magnolia. I had to ask around to get to The Clubhouse because it wasn't visible within the mall.Anyway, the restaurant's brightly lit. Don't worry, its not the annoyingly-brightly-lit but its the discreetingly-brightly-lit (go figure!). I would say that The Clubhouse is a merry restaurant what with the lights and decors helping out.Even the menu was happily done. Took me almost the whole year (I said, almost!) to decide until I finally chose Chicken and Three Mushroom Pesto Panini (I had to order a light pre-dinner meal to because I still had a birthday dinner to attend later on) and a Four Seasons Iced Tea (it was not available).I think I have to point out that I've been eating Pesto lately, so I would say that it was easy for me to spot the good ones from the bad ones. And The Clubhouse's version was almost good. I mean, the mushroom taste was nearly there but not yet there. And the chips? They were sad. Some were crispy, the others soft and others, over fried. I had the feeling that they were just re-fried from a pre-fried lot. Of course, I may be wrong. Will I be visiting again? Maybe after I tried all of the restaurants in Magnolia, then yes. But then again, maybe.

Opened by Robinsons Summit Ridge Hotel, this cafe serves up good comfort food on par with Cafe Adriatico's menu. What kept disturbing me was the endless flow of people just passing thru the restaurant to shortcut to Hemady Street. They weren't even hotel guest since its currently closed for renovations. Also, skip the ice cream sundaes here since you'll be paying a premium price just for Selecta 3-in-1 ice cream. Their concoctions look delicious with the impression they use Carmen's Best Ice Cream since its advertised in all tabletops.Chorizo Eggplant Arrabiata P295.00Cheesy Chicken Parmigiana P295.00Beef and Mushroom Salpicao P345.00

Went here for some cozy, warm and pleasant ambience for which it didn't fail. I love the interiors specially how relaxing and how eye candy-ish it is. Just perfect for a chill out day. However what seems to bother my almost perfect impression is its very poor ventilation. There are two huge air conditioner which is not working at all and idk why they aren't taking necessary steps to fix the problem despite knowing that it's the season where almost everything gets/is hot (for which i would want to include my temper as well) Another disappointing event I encountered is the staff. Just as when I thought that they are all professional and friendly who timelessly attend to every costumers need, they're not. With regards to their food, I ordered Triple Chocolate Milkshake which is superb and which I would highly recommend for you guys. This milkshake has the best whip cream I ever tasted. First sip was nothing but perfection. I super loved it. Also ordered creamy mushroom pesto (?) Altho it serves a generous amount of serving, the food kinda tasted way too bland. However, unli use of parmesan cheese saves the day! Lol. Might comeback for the love of milkshake
