Place is very cozy. We ordered the salpicao rice and it's very delicious. Hungarian Pasta and Gamberi tasted the same but its good and filling.Classic chocolate cake is a must have after your meal. Queso chiffon is also good. 👍

Chocolate kiss in U.P. Town Center is the same good ole restaurant that started operating in UP Bahay ng Alumni. They are known for their cakes and their variety of Asian dishes. I had to try their new branch in UP Town Center once I found about it, and try I did. I tried their beef Salpicao and I had to order their Dayap Cake. I was thoroughly satisfied with both. The Salpicao was cooked to perfection, the meet was tender and it has absorbed just the right flavour of the Salpicao through and through. The dayap cake is the same lime infused confection that the place became famous for. It blends the sugary sweetness and tang of lime with the soft sponge cake placed one layer on top of the other. They have successfully expanded at the other side of the campus.

A UP diliman favorite now in UP Town center. Finally accesible to those who dont frequent its halls. An array of continental dishes. We recommened the buffalo wings, chicken ala keiv, gamberi pasta, pesto pasta and their house ice tea. Affordable fare for their generous servings.

Second time to eat here today. No fish steak! That's the main reason why we decided to eat there, I've been ordering it since college. Anyway, the server explained they can't source the fish for the past 3 weeks. I ended up with the ribs - generous in serving size but the sauce is just overpowering the meat. I felt like I just had BBQ sauce for lunch. We also ordered the Chix basket, again generous serving size, the chicken tenders were a bit dry but there's a dip (BBQ sauce again) so that helped. The fries were underfried, at least based on my preference. And as always their iced tea is great. The syrup did look different but tastes the same. Maybe they're trying to source a different ingredient. The interior here is the same as the one in UP, same ambience, same menu cards even.Overall, I came and paid for the ambience and feel. Hashtag college feels. The food is good enough. If you get the chance try their Dayap cake and Devil's food cake.

When I first heard of The Chocolate Kiss Cafe, I thought desserts already? BUT I'M HUNGRY!!! So my friend told me that they actually have pretty good meals. My friends and I picked out from the House specialties. I tried the Chicken Kiev and it was really good. For the meat lovers, you may want to try the Hickory Smoked Spareribs (super juicy!). For the Catholics out there, don't fret even though it is the season of Lent because they also have Fish Kiev which is also very tasty. You will get your money's worth for sure! :)Can't wait to get back and try their desserts.

Been a fan of The Chocolate Kiss since our 1st try at their branch in Quezon CityWhich is now closed, so when i heaed that the branch in UP Town Center is now open, I really wanted to try their dishes again. Their branch is located at newly opened wing in UP Town and has a artsy vibe but was able to maintain the homey ambiance of the original store. Here's what we ordered:🍴Nachos - always our favorite! Crunchy and perfect match to the cheese, jalapeños and tomatoes! And there's salsa too! Good thing, you can ask for another round of cheese dip!🍴Chicken Apple Salad - small serving but tasty. Nothing spectacular about the dish. Served late (I believe salad is for starters not main entree) 🍴Grilled Cheese Sandwich - A MAJOR FAIL! It felt like a toasted old bread with a very sad slice of cheese with a very dry chips on the side dish. Not worth it of your money. 🍴Chix in a basket - my Chocolate Kiss staple. I was expecting to be the chicken fingers I always wanted but it turned out to be overcooked and a bit hard to chew. The fries was not fresh either. We asked the waiter if the dish was overcooked or not and he just gave us a shrug and left. Looks like he knew something was wrong with our order but decided not to take action. 🍴 Salisbury Steak - served correctly, cooked like what we've requested. The patty was home made as the waiter told us.🍴 Chicken Kiev - another favorite! The meal was tender and tasty. There are some parts that was hard to chew but still tasted good.🍴 Bottomless Iced Tea - A must try! Very refreshimg amd sweet! I loke the idea of the customer adds honey to the drink to have a sweet taste!I must say our dining experience was okay. The place & ambiance was comfy & warm. Service? Needs improvement. There are instances that 4-5 waiters are waiting and lurking but when you need them they're out of sight. There was a time we need to call atleast 4 times for someone to attend to us. They need to also improve their customer service, having mentioned the matter regarding one of order, they should have atleast look into it and provided us an explantaion and not just a shrug. Value for money? A 7/10. Good to have experienced.

Ordered nachos, grilled cheese, and coffee with family. Everything is good and you can ask for one coffee refill. Should try their cake next time though. 😋

Their cakes are very exceptional. My personal favorite is their dayap cake. Better try it! It's really awesome. The taste is superlatively great. Their spinach cream dip for starter is also a good choice. The brewed coffee is not that good. It's not hot enough but you can always ask to re-heat it. You guys are wondering why I rate it 3. This is because their service is not that good; not attentive. You'll have to raise your voice to call their attentions. Probably it's almost closing time. Cakes are great!

Chocolate Kiss has always been every Isko and Iska's go-to for comfort food. (What fascinates me is that for the price of the meals, does this mean that the "student meal" has already elevated to a casual dining experience in lieu of the fastfood and cafeteria experience?)I fondly remember the Bahay ng Alumni branch -- which now has two outlets, how wonderful! The ambiance was really cozy, quaint, relaxed. Sorta kinda like a speakeasy meets unassuming lounge (because, yes, there were jam nights with pianists or violinists). Perfect for either a romantic date or a business proposition with a client. My personal favorite order ALL THE TIME: The Chocolate Kiss Suite. In my opinion, I really believe that this sampler is "designed" to enable diners to taste all their 7 cakes (so yes, get two orders to sample Devil's Food Cake, Carrot Cake, Dayap Chiffon Cake, Kahlua Butter Cake, Orange Chiffon Cake, Prune Cake, and Queso De Bola Chiffon Cake). But by all means, after finishing the two plates, order the darned FULL sliced version of EVERYTHING. Sharing is, of course, optional. Go and visit an outlet NOW. As we used to say in Peyups, "Kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa?" ;-)

Choc Kiss, as we call it when I was still a UP college student, is already one of my favorite restaurants ever since the first time I've tried it. I was glad when they opened new branches like the one here in UP Town. The food we ordered tastes so good. Me and my siblings' favorite meal is the Chicken Kiev. And of course, the desserts are a must! That's their specialty. A favorite is the Devil's Foodcake. Every bite is simply delicious and it has just the right amount of sweetness. I've also tried the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, and I must say that it's also a must, especially for those who love sweets (and cheesecakes! Lol). But really I cannot choose my second best after the Devil's Foodcake because their Sans Rival, Blueberry or Strawberry Cheesecake, and Cookie-Brownie Sundae are all super treats for the sweet-toothed! 🍬 🍭 The ambiance is just okay. The service is good. All in all, a Choc Kiss experience never fails to make me happy.
