If you love or are into buffet restaurants like Vikings and Buffet 101, then you've got to try The Buffet - International Cuisine. They serve Filipino, Western, Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisines. The restaurant is located in Commonwealth Ave, Quezon City. After Luzon Ave if you are going north bound (Fairview). If you are going to ask me, the location is quite far. Moreover, the Google Map from their site is misleading so I recommend you to use their PDF map instead. If their location and map are disappointing, the restaurant's exterior, interior and ambiance are not. The interior is classy and very spacious. The ambiance is very cozy because of the dim lights from their chandeliers. The restaurant temperature is a little hot or it is just me but can be adjusted if you've asked them. This is also a good place for those who love to take pictures and selfie shots :D.The buffet on the other hand is above average. For those who are saying that their servings were small, well you can't taste most of the food if they were big. Hehe. Anyway, here are some of the food I've tasted:BREAD: They had many breads to choose from but for me, I ate an ensaymada-like bread which was good but the frosting was very sweet.PIZZA: They had two hand-tossed (thin) pizza, at least for that night. One is pepperoni pizza and the other has bell pepper and onion. Both of them were good and cheesier. :)SOUP: Liked the crab soup very much!CRAB STICK: Not so great and nakakaumay/nakakasuya (tiring to eat)CRAB: Great! Easy to eat!STEAK: I ordered (because it is pre-ordered) a well-done steak. It was small, not good and hard to chew. Good thing it was small. Hehe.SINIGANG: Great! I liked the sourness with spice :)FISH FILLETS: I think they were three different dishes for fish fillet. I only tried two of them and they were great.TONKATSU: Average. I'm comparing it to Yabu :))FRIED RICE: Great even without an accompanied dish.SIOMAI: Great also!CREAM PUFF: Delicious but the bread is a little thick and hard to eat.CHOCOLATE MOUSSE: Delicious but you can't finished them off because the spoon is bigger than the glass.CAKES: Came from Cake to Go.ICE CREAM: I thought they were 3-in-1 ice creams but I was wrong. They were delicious.FONDUE: AverageWATERMELON SHAKE: Great drink for dessertsThe staffs are not a problem at all and their services are great. Friendly, kind, attentive, helpful and happy are just some adjectives I can describe them. They will also cheer and sing a birthday song if requested. For the price, it is cheaper than Vikings and Buffet 101. Maybe because of the location. You can also find better deal at Metro Deal for discounts.Overall it was a great experience for me as website :D and a great competitor of other buffet restaurants.Food & Drinks -8/10Location & Ambiance - 3/5Staff & Service - 5/5Cleanliness - 4.5/5Price vs Worth - 4/5

he Buffet, in my opinion, is a very underrated restaurant that deserves more attention. There are really a lot of interesting offerings such as the Shabu-Shabu Station and Teppanyaki & Yakiniku. Of course, you'll find there the common ones such as the Sushi and Sashimi Station, Pasta Station, Chinese Station, Halo-Halo Station and whole lot more!I also enjoyed the peaceful and classy ambiance that made our dining experience very much enjoyable! The prices indicated here in website do not reflect the current prices anymore because the management decided to make the buffet more affordable! They now range from P538 to P688.

I remember when it was only about to open and we were all excited for it being a new eye candy along commonwealth. I remember we celebrated every possible occasion there. But since joining several groupon sites, their quality has decreased exponentially. They don't refill on food and the choices aren't so good anymore.

The Buffet International Cuisine started operating in March 2013. Aside from the restaurant, The Buffet also offers venues for conferences and reception for baptismal, birthdays, weddings, and other occasions. According to Cathy, the use of their functions rooms is free of charge, including the sound system and the set up. One should only need to pay for the food (inclusive of VAT) and the additional cost for the lighting. The place has four function rooms; the grand ballroom can accommodate up to 200 people, the platinum room can take 100 people, the diamond room can sit 80 guests, and the smallest is the conference room, which has its own projector, screen, and audio system. The buffet area can be found on the ground floor of the building. The wide array of food selection is divided into several sections; the sushi/sashimi, shabu-shabu, mongolian, noodles and dimsum, tepanyaki, bulgogi, and pasta. They also offer different kinds of breads and desserts. Some foods are cooked on the spot specially in the steak, pasta, crepe, and barbecue stations. Others you can pick right off the counters, while some you can cook shabu-shabu style. For lunch, the bars closes at 2:30 in the afternoon. The dishes are different for dinner, which starts at 6:30 in the evening. The only thing bad about the food is that I couldn't eat all of them, that's how big the selection is. The bread for one I wasn't able to try, also the pasta. As for my recommendation, do the shabu-shabu, because you can never go wrong with seafood, get the chicken and pork barbecue, salmon sushi, sashimi, steak, bacon-wrapped veggies, tempura, and for the desserts, the blueberry cheesecake on the spoon, dulce de leche, maja blanca, and yeah, make your own halo-halo with ice cream. For drinks try the blue lemonade and the oh so delicious watermelon shake.Weekday lunch goes for P538 per head, weekday dinner is P588. For weekends and holidays it's Php 688. There is a service charge of 5%.

There's not much of food choices but their sushi, pasta and filipino food are good :) i went here last night and there's not much people either, maybe its because its a weekday but their staff are really friendly :)
