Located along Sct. Lozcano, I've first read about Terrace 45 in some of the reviews on website. The other night, while on the way home, I called for a reservation for 2 and was in luck to have been accommodated. Why? When we arrived, the first thing the guard asked if we had a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, the place is PACKED! We ordered the corn fritters and cheese croquetas for apps, the salpicao and slow cooked beef for the mains. The corn fritters were nice though I would have liked it better if it had a filling like other restos do. The croquetas was slightly underwhelming as I can't seem to taste the cheese in it. Both the beef mains were cooked perfectly! The salpicao was juicy and tender while the slow cooked beef was soft and tasty. Nice place to have a quiet dinner or date.

Terrace 45's Grilled Porkchop with Dirty Rice is the bomb. Just the right thickness of meat, well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. It rested on top of an equally well-seasoned rice and grilled onions, tomatoes, and eggplant. The place is also nice. No mobile phone signal so you will be forced to talk over your lovely meals. Tried this resto twice, so far so good.

Love their pork rind poutine and baked potato soup for starters. Also got their sweet potato wedges and cesar salad which was just ok.For entrees, got all their best selling dishes---spiced herb rub ribs, callos, lengua (delicious!), porkchop, slow cooked beef, salpicao (winner!) and bbq chicken. To cap the dinner, had some pudding---too sweet and not exactly the kind of pudding I know...and genmaicha which was very heartwarming and nice as they added some barley to it.Overall, a good place to eat and celebrate with family and friends.

Tried Terrace 45 last night with a couple of friends. Great ambience - perfect for intimate dinners or long conversations with friends. The interior has a very warm, homey feel to it - all light colors, minimalist design. Makes you want to pull out a sofa and just live there. Service is quite good too - they served our food real quick. You get your money's worth for the food. I'd recommend their Grilled Salmon, Lengua and Chips, and Slow-cooked Beef for main dish. The meat (for all three) were soft and well-flavored. For appetizer, get their Chicken Pitacos. Altho, I think they can still improve the yoghurt on the Pitacos (recommend they use classic Greek Tzatziki). Not impressed with their Cheese Croquetas and Grilled Pork Chops. The croquetas were not as cheesy as I expected them to be (as I expect ANY cheese croquetas to be) while the Grilled Pork Cop was really just so-so. Not to mention the 'dirty rice' that came with it was greasy as heck (they weren't kidding when they called it 'dirty').Great for: reunion dinners (great for friends, but not loud[fun]friends), dates (actual dates where you try to get to know a person, not when you plan to take her/him home)

Thursdays are sacred for I spend my lunch (and coffee after) with my dear dad. No reason but my mom normally stays home to enjoy her me-time even for a few precious hours.Dad is more adventurous (and open) than mommy. That's why with dad, I can take him to new places, new restaurants to try and not be bothered by bitchy remarks after (of course, I didn't say my mom is capable of bitchiness... you, my dear readers, just implied it).It was a good call to take daddy for a "#DadDate" to Terrace 45. Maaliwalas (sorry, no apt English word for it) ang lugar. Giving very positive vibes. Decors are minimal and somber. Even the servers are subdued never the annoyingly too-happy type (and for we know are all put-on) ever eager to please.Dad and I started with the Homemade Potato Chips with Aoli. My dad finished the whole order (need I say more?). Next, the Beef Salpicao and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Salpicao was oh-so tender and seasoned just right. And the Chicken? Well, it was too-much-of-a-challenge to eat because you need to open real wide to have a decent bite or else the chicken fillet would just slide away and ruin what might be your best shirt or worse, blacken your immaculate reputation. May I suggest that you pound it a bit (escalope)? But of course, nowadays, restaurant owners need to take in for consideration two very, very important things: one, taste and two, Instagram. Mali ako o mali ako?Anyway, I will bring friends over that's for sure. As for mommy? I will also take her here. I'm sure that she'll leave Terrace 45 satisfied, happy and yes, quiet.

(Late review) Was out with my friends one weekend and we decided to try something new. Terrace 45 is nestled at Tomas Morato, bringing in intimate yet sophisticated vibes at the more quiet side of Tomas Morato. Here's how our evening went:Chicken Croquetas- I love how crisp the coating was, given how creamy the mashed potatoes were with a small pieces of chicken inside. I just wish the cheese would have been melted a bit more. I think it would be best to use Mozzarella or any other fast melting, creamy cheese for the dish. Slow-cooked Beef- great food takes time and so did this dish! I love how layered the flavors were on this dish. You can taste from the sauce how rich and succulent the beef was, hinted just with the right amount of salt, it compliments the cream its mixed in. I also love the flavors of toasted garlic it came with to make it more fragrant and flavorful. I love how soft the texture of the beef was. This is perfect with rice or mashed potatoes. Butterscotch pudding- I wasn't really that happy when I tried the dish. It was a bit hard for me to be considered a pudding yet I love how sweet it was. If I may suggest, put a bit of salt to have a bit of contrast to balance the dish out. I also do hope that it can be creamier and lighter.

Ambience - Can pass as an intimate date place.Food - Ordered Pumpkin Soup and Prawn Thermidor Pasta. Both tasted good but not extraordinary.Price - A bit expensive to be a weekly hangout place. Eat here when there's something to celebrate.Service - Thumbs up! It was great! Will I come back? Yes, but maybe after two years.

I am so unhappy with the buffet meal provided by this resto. The server gave only small pieces of chicken barbecue and small bits of stewed beef and pasta is miniscule too. I think the food( kiddie serving)is only worth at the most so much very less than the amount paid .The contents of the rounded tray is not even full, it is only half full. So the server really had to give out KONTI, if not, madaling maubos kaagad. By the time the second tray arrived, most had been served and the guests wouldn't stand up to have refills lest they would be seen as still hungry. I bet they are still hungry, with that kiddie portion of meal bring served. So, they served only 1whole small rounded tray of chicken and 1 whole small rounded tray for beef for around 48 people( I am Speaking of main meals. Twice lumabas but only half full each labas of the tray)That was why it was being served by a server and is NOT self service.....because they only cooked for half the people but charged the whole works. What is so irritating is that the establishment should buy the food materials before hand, make sure food cooked is ENOUGH for the people.baka nagkulang Ng inventory sa kitchen and pinagkasyahan na Lang, but still lacking.I am a senior woman and I eat so little. The mere fact that I am complaining of small meals mean the food is "less than little" that I am used to.maybe they are not USED TO CATERING to a large group of people( we are not that large, yet....). Hanggang small groups na pasulpot sulpot Lang siguro because their kitchen inventory is kasya Lang for small groups.

Had dinner with friends.  The place was nice.  The food tasted good.  They went overboard with the chili flakes on the Aglio Olio.  The server was in a rush as he began serving the Mains while we were still having the Salad; making the table crowded.  Price is on the high side against serving size.  The effect of value-added can be noticed on a larger than normal rice serving with the Grilled Pork Chop and Slow-cooked Beef.  The Cheesecake wasn't good.  We suspect it being old as it had a "been stored too long in the chiller" smell.

Thursday night for our anniversary date. So far, the only place where we loved a Grilled Pork Chop without any "sawsawan" 😜. And plus points for the playlist!!
