Food is not bad and the ambiance was better from previous years. The staff needs a lot of improvement to do though. While we were ordering, I told the server that we'd just call once we've decided. She insisted on returning for four more times with gaps of no more than two minutes. She practically stood there and asked if we already have decided. I'm not sure what the rush was about when the place wasn't even full.Another male staff also made an inappropriate comment of "Ok lang po, bottomless naman yung iced tea," when we asked for a refill of the drink. Finally, when we asked for the bill, there was no longer any staff around and the manager was just sitting on the other table and even shouted, "Bill out daw!" When no one approached us still, she commented loudly, "Ako na nga!"I don't know if it was just a really bad day for them but this place was definitely far from how good I remember it.

I like the ambience. I ordered their Ebi Tempura, it wasn’t something to die for but it was satisfactory although the servings were quite small. Service speed was alright, food was served just right on time. This place is great if you just want to bond for a little while with your family.

One notion about Japanese fast food and casual dining is they usually taste the same and they mostly differ in presentation and inclusions such as the miso soup, veggies, etc. And of course, some are really costly, especially when it comes to set meals or bento meals. Teriyaki Boy has been in the market for quite some time and is known for its Japanese cuisine, which is of higher quality, better meat, fresher vegetables and rich sauces.

Although their ramen don't taste authentic enough, other selections (rolls, katsu ju, and teriyaki), are flavorful, it doesn't matter if it's authentic. I would still come back here, but with other Japanese restaurants popping up, I'd probably try something with a more genuine taste.

Good serving. Food was served warm. Attentive and gracious servers. Good ambiance conducive for catch ups and conversations. Really loved the tuna tartare. Wish the rice could’ve been a bit stickier, needed to use spoon before we finished our rice bowls, but maybe it’s just because of the sauce. Would go back to this place again.

Used to be a pretty good place to get your jap food fix... But recently was served something with really rubbery dry egg, the meat was also very dry.

I loved Teriyaki Boy from before. I have not eaten here in ages until last night. I had high hopes since I learned that it is part already of the Max's group of retaurants. So the place was not crowded when we arrived. The waitstaff are courteous and we were seated quickly. They even accomodated me when I asked if my celphone can be charged. My friend and I ordered the Teriyaki Boy Chicken Bento. It was appealing enough and almost looked the same as the picture. It was just ok,nothing special with it. In my mind it is just the more expensive version of the bento of a Japanese fastfood I used to patronize. My friend ordered unlimited Iced Tea, and she was somehow expecting for a quick refill since the restaurant was not really crowded. But she had to wait a long time for the second refill. So that was minus points. We were expecting to be full after eating but we did not. I just wished that servings could be a bit more especially that the bento box was big. Maybe it will take a while for me to return again.

since this is near my place + i like japanese food, i tend to eat here a lot. i usually get the tuna tartare + teriyaki lunch bento. the most affordable amongst the japanese food shops in the area (unless i count the ones from ali mall and farmers).their tuna tartare, teriyaki chicken, egg roll and katsu curry are very good :)staff is usually friendly, but serving time/service tend to suffer during peak hours. it might also be my terrible luck (or that i usually am here during lunch/afternoon), but the place tends to be pretty sweltering. A/C please?

Spare yourself from disappointment and eat somewhere else! This restaurant used to be good (decent). What the fudge happened?!Food - Their Chashu Ramen tasted like instant noodles! So salty! Tonkatsu was so small and oily! Is there anyone doing QA on their menu? My goodness! It’s appalling!Service - Terrible Servers! Serving wrong orders and have to remind them of your pending orders/requests from time to time.

The only thing i love here in this restaurant is the overlooking view of Cubao. (Which is also ugly) But food? Too pricey and taste like food court food..Their okonomiyaki taste like bread with mayonaise😑Their maki is sour you will close your eyes in every bite.Dynamite maki - taste good though i like it spicy 👌Tamago maki- surprisingly good. But why on earth it is color pinkish?Their bento meal - tokyo tokyo bento meal rip-offNot worth your money. Staff is okay, not nice also not bad.
